Though the beach is still popular, the elegant splendor that once graced this seaside resort community barely shows through the paved-over streets, fast-food eateries and shopping centers.

Quaint historical buildings surrounding the beach. Not too far off the major tourist road. Enjoyed watching the kite surfers and took the historical walk alongside a working railway line. Good food options with Knead and Lucky Fish. Ample parking in the evening. Would make for a lovely Sunday afternoon activity before getting into the week

Loved the colorful beach huts. Only a few train stops from Simmons town. Really windy and water very cold. Had surf lessons. Also they have mini golf a water slide and another pool very close to the beach.

The colorful sheds on the beach are strategically placed that you can't miss them! Lots of activity on the beach. Clean, friendly and beautiful.

We love coming here for a surf with the kids on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The beaches are pristine and the water warm and the vibe is lovely. A definite repeat!

Of all the areas Muizenberg is well-known for its wind and senic beach. Make sure to visit Sunrise beach on a Sunday to participate in the local flea market.

Living in Cape Town is a privilege and living close to the sea, even more so. My wife and I take regular walks along the coast to Miuzenberg. It has a lovely coastal village feel around Surfers' Corner, with many top class restaurants, ranging from the quirky to the franchises. We have enjoyed most of them. The beach is safe... More

As overseas visitors we found Muizenberg when we could not get anywhere near Kalk Bay due to overcrowding. How pleased we were, the beach was charming, lots of people having fun and surfing, but still plenty of space. An abundance of good eating places, all which seemed to be of a high standard Overall a marvellous atmosphere, full of smiling... More
