People set up their small booths to sell their wares. Do not go here if you are not comfortable negotiating price. You will end up paying too much. But that is part of the fun. There is quite a variety of souvenirs and clothing. It...More

Green Point market has an assortment of stalls selling some good craft products. If you are looking for a bargain, you need to spend some time talking to the shopkeeper, and accompanied by your local guide

Nothing extraordinary in the market. What is nice and a reason to visit is to walk between the buildings and in the city and it close to the Company's Gardens. Some nice coffee shops near the market.

A repetitive collection of kitschy African souvenirs which are being peddled by pushy sellers. Very uncomfortable to walk through with baby buggy due to the cobbles.

Just a small touristy market with a lot of similar and pricey stuff. Every shop offers clothes and jewelry. Nothing special. I recommend to watch the tourists while bargaining, its much more interesting than to look for things for your own.

Walking around from Sea Point on a Saturday morning found this charming local food market and great place for a brunch. Really interesting mix of things on offer and plenty of people sampling dishes on trestle tables.

This is a great spot for local souvenirs. There are several ATMs in the areas that are not considered safe. So make sure you ask your hotel ahead of time where you should go. Make sure you negotiate on the prices of goods.
