Just a small touristy market with a lot of similar and pricey stuff. Every shop offers clothes and jewelry. Nothing special. I recommend to watch the tourists while bargaining, its much more interesting than to look for things for your own.
Walking around from Sea Point on a Saturday morning found this charming local food market and great place for a brunch. Really interesting mix of things on offer and plenty of people sampling dishes on trestle tables.
This is a great spot for local souvenirs. There are several ATMs in the areas that are not considered safe. So make sure you ask your hotel ahead of time where you should go. Make sure you negotiate on the prices of goods.
