I came to Cape Town determined to scuba dive. Specifically, I wanted to do my PADI Advanced Course and see what all the amazing bodies of water offer in the city. I emailed Into the Blue months before my arrival, and they were incredibly prompt and professional in organizing my class, dives, gear, and everything. I received reminders before the dives about what to bring and where to meet.
The dives were absolutely stellar. The first day was in the ‘warmer’ waters of False Bay. We dove three times, and my instructors (Warrick and Lucas) were phenomenal. We saw baby sharks, a stingray, plenty of fish and ocean life, and had a great time.
The second day was in the colder waters of the Atlantic. I was on a boat with lots of other divers who were great fun to meet. We dove with seals and had amazing visibility (12m +). The instructors for this dive (Sandra et al.) were incredibly patient and supportive as we all braced ourselves for the chilly waters. I never felt pressured, unsafe, or unsure of anything.
The best part about diving is its social nature. Divers are fun, quirky, adventurous, funny, and just a joy to be around. Into the Blue is no exception. Their staff is top notch, their expertise is clear, and their attitudes make it an absolutely must-do item tor novice and experienced divers alike.

The stars of this particular show were undoubtedly the seals and this is a truly magical experience and one we would heartily recommend. Sharing top billing with them were the professional, knowledgeable and hard working staff of Out of the Blue. We actually had our trip re-scheduled due to bad weather and it was clear that the staff had the customers' safety as their top priority. They were also very ecology-aware, being at pains to explain the best way to interact with the seals without stress. We stopped several times during our journey to and from the "seal site" in order to view the wildlife and picked up a pile of plastic debris that we found floating in the ocean, emphasising the need to clear the sea of this menace. Awesome and well worth the time, money and effort.

My cousin and I did the open water scuba dive course introduction with Into The Blue Scuba Centre.
It was truly epic.
The instructors were amazing and really made the whole experience for us.
Massive shout-out to Taryn and Warwick.
They were extremely patient, friendly and knowledgable.
We felt completely safe and relaxed the whole time, while still having a lot of fun learning.
The communication from Into The Blue was great, and even with Cape Town's ever changing conditions we were able to sort out all our scuba days without any stress.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Into The Blue Scuba Centre for anyone looking to learn to scuba dive.
I can't wait to book my next dive with them!

I just want to thank Into The Blue Scuba Centre for one of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had. Literally the best scuba instructors that are so friendly and caring. Safety is their first priority which was very comforting for me because I was so scared of diving through kelp, but they tought me to stay calm and all the amazing skills! I’ll definitely recommend doing your courses through them, you’re in safe hands and even if you don’t love diving, they’ll MAKE you LOVE diving !!
I will be back very soon !
Thank you for everything, you guys are the best!

We @kaskazikayaks did a team build with Into The Blue yesterday and boy what a fun day out. They kitted us all up with very decent warm wetsuits and dive gear, then drove us down to the water where a boat and three very friendly skipper and crew awaited our arrival. The boat ride to Oudekraal was super fun!! We had Nathan doing a few whirls to get us all laughing and excited. Our drop into the ocean was at Coral Gardens. The crew was on the water with us and had their eyes peeled in case anyone needed a rest on their buoyancy ring or help out the water. The conditions were ideal, the deep made it quite hard for us to see down below but the kelp was too pretty. Those that could dive down spotted amazing coral walls, a huge seal that swam by and schools of fish passed us on the surface. I highly recommend Into The Blue for an Atlantic Ocean experience - especially the pristine reserve of Oudekraal

I cannot say enough good things about these people, really a fantastic team who are caring, pleasant, knowledgeable, and very professional. I I went on a scuba diving trip with them. There are seven fun divers and four crewmembers. The crew helped us with all the details to get ourselves ready. My scuba skill was a bit rusty. Not only did they give me a refresher in the swimming pool before we boarded the boat, but they also assigned one crewmember to be with me pretty much for the entire trip. Finally, at the end of the day when I left, I forgot my Apple Watch in the office. Within 30 minutes, before I even realized it myself, they called me to let me know that my watch is at the front desk to be picked up.
There are many other happy moments from the day trip, I just want to summarize it by saying, thank you Into the Blue! I will remember you and I will recommend you to all my friends!

We were picked up at our hotel by our friendly guide in a big van, drove to the centre in town to fit our gear, and then drove down along the coast towards the Cape a bit to a parking area where we suited up, scrambled down to the shore, and jumped in for some snorkeling in a cove of kelp. Everyone was afraid we would be cold but in the heavy suits it wasn't a problem. It was great to be in the water, fascinating to experience the kelp forest, we had a lot of fun. It's no coral reef, but it's swells from the Southern Ocean! How cool is that. Afterwards while we were waiting for our guide to finish up all the dirty work before driving us back to the hotel, we went across the street to a fancy shop selling the best croissants in the world, or so they claim. They were good! Can you really say you've been somewhere if you haven't been in the water?

Theo.
