Hiking up Table Mountain (India Venster Route) was an incredible experience. I could say that the views were breath taking but that would be an understatment. We were accommpanied by experienced guide, Riaan Vorster. His knowlegde of the mountain is incredible. we felt safe with him and he is friendly.

We had great afternoon with Riaan as he took us to the top of Lion’s head! He was great hiker, but also very knowledgeable and insightful about fauna, flora of the area. We all enjoyed this trip, including our 11 years old! :-)

The hike was absolutely amazing. We were both new to hiking and our guide, Liesl, was so friendly, knowledgeable and encouraged us all the way. The views were incredible and we can't wait to come back one day and do another hike!

I'm extremely late with my review and meant to do it immediately after my visit. Better than never I suppose. I went with one my closest friend on my birthday to complete this hike. I would say you definitely need to be in decent shape and you need a guide because some parts of the hike was extremely challenging. It was definitely not a leisure walk in the park. Come prepared with hydration and snacks. Our guide was amazing. If I could give him 10 stars alone I would. He was patient, skillful, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and plants on the mountain. He even gave my friend and I some of his water because we were definitely not prepared. I would suggest that if you think you need more times than others than I would book a private tour with a guide. We lucked out that we were paired with a group from Turkey that were also patient and motivating. The views along the way were absolutely stunning and I felt accomplished at the end of the hike. If you have the time and want an adventure please book a tour with this company and request Mike as your guide. You wont be disappointed!

I can't recommend Riann and his team highly enough. Extremely professional and knowledgeable and very enjoyable/engaging people to be around. Among the best of any guiding companies I have seen around the world. Everything from logistics, group matching/dynamics, climbing instruction, sharing knowledge of the mountain and environment, safety, and even to assistance with photos was top notch. Very good value for the expertise and experience. Hope to have a chance to climb with Riann and company again.
