EAT. YOUR. BREAKFAST. KNOW. YOUR. LIMITS. This amazing wine tour will bring you to 4 (technically 5) wineries that each give you 4-5 wines to taste - and their pours are a little generous. For my tour, one of the wineries included a cheese tasting, and another included chocolate. BUT, what made my wine tour extra nice, was my tour guide Theunus! Theunus genuinely participated in our conversations (and sometimes, shenanigans), and a tour guide that enjoys their time with you makes for a pretty great tour guide. He not only drove us safely from pick up to drop off, he also brought us into some of the wineries and explained the process and machinery involved. All in all, a pretty great time. But in all seriousness. Eat your breakfast. Theunus did bring us to a petrol station where we could buy food if we wanted, but even so. It's a long and wine-heavy day.

Overall: great tour; recommended. The pick up was around 8:30-9am, tour guide was a ball of energy full of energy. The transport was nice, 4 vineyards, 4-6 tastings of wine some with cheese, and some brandy. Lots of history. The wine was pretty affordable as well. More for people who like dryer wines , for sweeter wines go for Constantine.

I can only recommend this wine tour! We had an excellent day with Nick, he was the most funny tour guide and explained the stories behind the wineries/wines. I would always recommend this wine tour to any friend of mine, it really was the best day ever. Thank you again Nick!

A good day out, it was a bit rushed in places. Not helped by delays at the beginning when we had to wait for late bookers ! Visited 3 wine tastings - 2 very good and 1 "put up with us". Brief visit to the prison entrance where Nelson M. was released from was good. Beware of the service times in Franschhoek - took us 45 minutes to get a sandwich.
