The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

A great place for rest and picnics. They have several areas with tables and drinking water, which are quite busy in the warm time of the year. You can also find free bathrooms and bins for different types of waste. Loved the educational paths for kids.

This is a new beautiful park and green space that goes between the nice restaurant district in Greenpoint, and the Victorian lighthouse at Mouille point. It has nice water features with wading birds and some nice lawn area and benches to eat lunch.

A well kept area and a peaceful biodiversity park. It is lovely to sit on the bench alongside the lake, read a book and have a take away coffee at the mac donalds around the corner. Or walk around the read the interesting information about the biodiversity. Organise friends or family to meet for a picnic and enjoy the sunshine.... More
