The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

Experience a little inner city beauty and take a walk through the Green Point Park. Sparkling clean, fresh and always something in bloom. Its a great spot for picnics, to exercise or to let little ones run and play off some energy. Ever Cape Town suburb deserves one like this

Always enjoy this park, and watching the birds and the people. I am concerned about the balloons that are floating on the water, due to the parties that are held here. IT's rather popular for kids parties, yet there is no concern for the left over, or floating balloons that are floating on the water, and yet the birds, fish... More

If you are looking for a tranquil, beautiful, spotless & natural environment then this is the park for you. It gets very hot so don't forget your hat & put lots of sunblock on. Kids & adults love the many outdoor activities & exercise machines on offer. Highly recommended.

A lovely spot and firm favourite for the locals for picnics, and for kiddies outings or birthdays. A diverse range of flora in a well maintained setting makes for interesting walks too

The park and all the activities for the kids and adults keep you occupied for hours on end whilst relaxing on the clean green grass. Shaded areas below trees or pergolas with seating areas for entertaining a birthday party or just a picnic with the family and or friends.

Green Point Park is one of the most versatile spots to visit. Our company had a team day there, where we participated in sport and teambuilding. Although the weather was semi cold, no one noticed as we had such fun with races, games and by exploring the many aspects of the park. From sprawling lawns to a new tea garden,... More

Whether you are young or old, crawling or walking this is a great spot to spend the day . The kiddies park area is innovative and fun and covers all ages . It's best to pack a pic inc and find a quite spot near the water or if you have kiddies camp near the play ground . There is... More
