The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

A haven of peace , tranquility and biodiversity learning on the Atlantic Seaboard. Enjoyed by all Capetonians and celebrated by many out of towners as well - locally and internationally.

Flat easy not too strenuous walk through the park, works well for moms pushing strollers. Lovely view of the mountains.

An oasis in the midst of traffic and chaos. Love the sound of the birds and the peaceful trickle of the water wheel. Well maintained, ideal for family picnics and fun. Serene. It seems as though the world has stopped inside the park and the people there respect one another and are all happy.

Experience a little inner city beauty and take a walk through the Green Point Park. Sparkling clean, fresh and always something in bloom. Its a great spot for picnics, to exercise or to let little ones run and play off some energy. Ever Cape Town suburb deserves one like this

Always enjoy this park, and watching the birds and the people. I am concerned about the balloons that are floating on the water, due to the parties that are held here. IT's rather popular for kids parties, yet there is no concern for the left over, or floating balloons that are floating on the water, and yet the birds, fish... More
