This is a great stadium in the city centre offering great views at competitive prices.
We were lucky enough to watch the Stormers play the Lions in a league game.
The views were great and atmosphere electric!
Good food and drinks At very competitive prices!

A wonderful legacy of the great party of 2010, when we thought we ruled the world and everyone loved us! Get to an event at this very impressive multi purpose stadium and now that COVID restrictions are over you have no excuse. Every seat gives you a good view of the field - its just depends upon distance from the action and the price you want to pay. The entry in and exit is really well designed - compare this to the death traps of Newlands Rugby Stadium. What is also great is the "fan walk" - from the city center and through the de Waterkant to Green Point.

This stadium with 64 thousand seats was built on the site of the old partially destroyed, partially rebuilt Green Point Stadium and even bore his name for some time. Naturally, for the 2010 World Cup. Here, in the quarterfinals, Argentina, with the great Messi at the forefront of the attack and the great Maradona on the coaching bench, was defeated by Deutsche Mannschaft 4-0, and in the semifinals, the Netherlands won hard against Uruguay. We must think with the huge support of local Afrikaners, descendants of Dutch immigrants. As it usually happens after the World Championships and the Olympics, the stadium turned into a Thai elephant. Expenses are unchanged, and incomes are problematic. I think the investment in construction has not returned. During my visit, the stadium was closed due to the pandemic. So I couldn't go inside like I used to at the Maracana. But even from the outside it looks aesthetically pleasing...

Well organised security, traffic control and comfortable seating for the show.
best to book seats than standing room . good view of stage with TV screens on either side for close up viewing.
traffic control after the show runs smoothly with officers on duty.

We attended a convention there and the stadium was very clean and secured. Comparing it Moses Mabhida in Durban I think this stadium is much more user friendly and makes it easy to move around.

I have been to close to 10 music concerts at the stadium - from pop to rock and have always been disappointed in the sound quality. If you are in a sweet spot it is okay but particularly if it is windy, the sound is dismal. The loo's are always clean however, which is a great bonus and only once have I experienced a traffic jam of people at a exit - usually it is quite free-flowing, considering the masses that attend at a time. The stage views are really good and it is in a beautiful setting but the sound quality really lets it down. This was not a problem when watching sport - only for music concerts.

I loved the new stadium. It offers world class facilities with very strict rules which is excellent when you have crowds of thousands in one place

Check when tours are on as only a couple a week... an interesting hour spent and kept my sons hobby of visiting stadiums around the world.

We went to attend the Bon Jovi concert early in May. The stadium was easily accessible and all points of entry seemed to be running efficiently and easily.

Hopefully the future home of WP and Stormers rugby. One of the best stadiums in the world for watching sporting events. Clear views from all seats

Qual o custo e o horário de visitas ao estádio de futebol de capetown?
Aonde comprar o ingresso para visitas?
Written November 19, 2017
Eu assisti ao jogo Cape Town City x Ajax Cape Town. Comprei o ingresso na hora. Não me recordo ao certo valor. É bem mais barato que no Brasil. Dá para comprar na hora. Desconheço sobre visitas guiadas.
