We were informed that the Old Biscuit Mill only opens on Saturdays from 9am-2pm and were highly recommended to check it out. And it was definitely worth it! This is your indie market that every city needs to have. The food selection is on par with London's Borough Market and the food offerings were amazing (thin crust pizza, breakfast in... More

This is by far one of the best markets I've been to. Being from Johannesburg, I've been to quite a few markets. The selection of exciting food at the Neighbourgoods Market on a Saturday ranges from Mexican to Thai to delicious potjie pies to deep fried mac 'n cheese balls to rolled ice cream. And just outside is a nice... More

This was a surprising find! We wanted a place that we could shop for a few hours and find local artists. This had a variety of stores, from pottery to clothing to art. We had a blast looking at all the offerings - including the deli for lunch. Yum!!

Great spot for a catch up with friends and browse some of the interesting shops. Saucisse offers some good food and baked goodies, next door is Espressolab Microroasters coffee which is amazing. The famous Test Kitchen restaurant is here too, but bookings are generally weeks ahead. There is a market on ~Saturdays until 2pm. Stalls selling local designers wares -... More

A gathering of local artisans and entrepreneurs exhibiting, selling, and sharing their creativity all in a repurposed & reinvigorated space. From edgy photographers and prolific craftspeople, to innovative cuisines and chocolatiers, saturdays are abuzz with excitement and discovery. Felt like the only tourist in a local hot spot - enjoying farm-to-table fare and enjoying some live music.

Old Biscuit Mill is beautifully restored and gentrification in the area is underway. You can take a walk down the street a short way before hitting typical inner city vibes, and it makes for a fun outing. Go on a Saturday when the Neighbour Goods market is on - the food and choices are astounding. In the Biscuit Mill itself... More
