Inverdoorn is a gem of a game park, within a comfortable 2.5hrs drive from Cape Town. The accomodation is stylish and comfortable and the staff are lovely. Whilst the game on site may not be to the same scale as Kruger, it is still a...More

We went to the inverdoorn today. For a person that has never been on a safari it's OK, but if you have tried the real thing, you will be disappointed. Everybody are friendly, it's clean, good food, nice pool, but the safari is pretty sad....More

I love Inverdoorn ~ everything about it. Yes it’s a bit of a trek from Cape Town and the last few kilometres of gravel road before you enter really isn’t pleasant however, you forget all about that upon arrival. Such a wonderful location ~ fabulous...More

Cool place, great staff and facilities. Game drives are in a beautiful area with knowledgeable guides. Fresh food and great wine list. Clean and everything works - worth a visit if you can get a special deal as quite dear for locals.

We booked this with an external company. The ride was L O N G from Cape Town but once we got there the safari was AMAZING! Our guide was Emile and his knowledge combined with humor made our time fly by. I have never had...More

We decided to pay the extra and stay at the Kuganha tented camp, I can honestly say it was worth the extra. We arrived at the camp and were asked if we wanted lunch. It wasn't part of the package but we paid the extra,...More

We took and offer of one night in Inverdoorn and other in Aquila with Safari. Inverdoorn was the best by far!!! Better service and more private safari and resort. We were only 5 in the truck! I found it more pretty with great gardens. Our...More

Although small, this place was wonderful. I love the work they are doing at rescuing some of the animals that they have. We were able to have their "cheetah experience," which was just incredible! To pet a cheetah? Are you kidding me? So cool!! Watching...More

We stayed 2 nights at Inverdoorn and had an amzing time. If the ride from Cape Town wasn't so long and tedious, we would probably have only stayed 1 night though, as you can see all animals within 2 safaris. Our guide Jacques (or Jack,...More

Overall a nice experience. Pluses: The transfer from our hotel in Cape Town was smooth, in a clean minibus, the driver was quite polite and very punctual. Once in the reserve, the landscape was spectacular and we were welcomed with cold drinks and cookies. The...More

Invendoorn is a private game conservation reserve, so they conduct their own ‘safari’ drives. So, you just need to reserve a tour and get yourself there. If you are not mobile, check with invendoors on options: they may be... More

The rides are a little bumpy depending on how many are in your group and if you are sitting the back. The drivers don't go very fast and someone who is pregnant it depends on how far long they are in the pregnancy. As for... More

yes you can manage it from FH which puts you closer to Inverdoorn than my journey from Cape Town. The last part of the journey is on dirt road which is slow going but scenic. From memory it took us maybe 45 mins from that... More
