Description:

For a memorable and unique Cape Town adventure, nothing can be more...

For a memorable and unique Cape Town adventure, nothing can be more exhilarating than a cage diving and surface viewing tour to meet the mighty great white shark. One of the few places in the world where white sharks can be observed regularly at any time of the year, Gansbaai is known as the shark diving capital of the world. The watery habitat of the apex predator is not glamorous and this tour is highly weather dependent - this is mother nature at her most temperamental and raw; only when you see your first flash of steely grey sliding purposefully towards the boat, will you understand the magnetic beauty of the great white shark. Indescribable. No previous diving experience is necessary to enter the cage and everything you will need to fully enjoy the tour is provided, from your meals, to your dive equipment and even the convenient and comfy shuttle that Shark Zone can provide to get you there. As Cape Town's #1 booking agent for great white shark tours, Shark Zone will make sure you get the best deal, hassle-free!

Recently did a half day trip with Shark Zone to False Bay. What an amazing experience! The staff on the boat were friendly and it is clear that they want you to make the most out of your day - seeing as many sharks as possible. The trip included snacks and drinks and they provided towels, recommend to take your... More

We booked through Stephen, for shark cage diving in Gansbaai. From the beginning we had very professional approach, and eventually had an amazing experience. He answered all our questions, replied to all our mails and had a well coordinated trip to Gansbaai. Thank you Stephen for a wonderful trip of our lifetime.

Booked the trip through Frank who was extremely kind and helpful. Seeing the sharks so close was a real great experience. No harm to the sharks is caused during the trip. Had luck to see 6 sharks, but you have to rememebr this is nature which is run by it's own laws and no one can guarantee anything. Warmly reccomend... More

I had a lovely experience at the Shark Zone. The staff members were really friendly and showed concern over those who fell sick on the board. It was lovely seeing the sharks and what a surreal moment. Saw a couple of sharks and lots of fish. Given another opportunity I will do it all over again. To my friends I... More

We booked with Stephen at Shark Zone and they did a wonderful job organizing our entire trip. We were picked up by a shuttle at our hotel in Cape Town and driven to Gansbaai. The company was on time and very knowledgeable about both sharks and whales. We unfortunately didn't see any whales because it was too early in the... More

I knew going into the booking that Shark Zone was not an operator. That seems to be a frequent complaint with Shark Zone that I did not have. However, it was still incredibly frustrating booking with them. The reason I still give three stars is because Shark Zone was by far the cheapest option and because the operator I ended... More

Good deal, well organized, saw 6 sharks on our dive. Got to go twice (each time about 5 minutes - didn't last longer also b/c it was cold at end of May). Few things that weren't noted: towels are available for a rental fee, we went through some guy named Steven to book, who took our credit card number, but... More

Package is very affordable and includes pick up (2 hour drive and back), snacks, meal and a professional trip with experienced and friendly individuals who have mastered the art of cage-diving, yet very insightful and appreciative about the role the great white sharks play in the ecosystem and about the importance of never jeopardizing the safety and existence of these... It was absolutely wonderful to have such a close experience with sharks. They made sure that everyone got to see the sharks and did not rush with the activity.

Me and my wife booked with sharkzone. And everything was great from the ease of booking , 7am pick up to the trip to Gansbaai. And then you get to the actual shark diving. One of the best experiences of my life. I would recommend this to everyone. It is a must on the bucket list
