Either you choose to face the ocean or turn around to face the mountains I can assure you will be happy. Even though the beach attracts quite a lot of people it is not to crowded. Bliss!

Loved the fact the beach umbrellas are all blue. Great beach and there is always someone to assist you to put up your umbrella or carry your deck chair.

With water too cold to even paddle we just walked along the beach. Stunning rollers and in the evening, sunset. Chairs and brollies available.

A 'gathering of tourists' in a very commercial sea side area. Was very hot when we were there during November. Place had dozens of Cafes, Bars and Restaurants and beautiful sands.

This was for sure one of the highlight from my trip to cape town. Beautiful beach (windy sometimes) , wonderful restaurants with an amazing view of the twelve apostles and you go up the hill and breath taking view.

It's one of the most beautiful stretches of white sand. The bay is worth a visit, there are plenty of bars/restaurants on the beachfront where to sit and enjoy the view. The ocean is just too cold to get in and beware of the strong wind.

Wonderful beach with clean sand and water, apart from the seaweed on the edge which was a little unpleasant. However, the main problem you will experience is the multitude of incessant ice cream and cold drink vendors who pass every couple of minutes shouting out the wares . Not a restful beach by any means.
