Wonderful day at the beach.

Camp's Bay Beach is beautiful white sand and blue water. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to rent from the local entrepreneurs. The only issue is the water is quite cold!

Beautiful area, very close to Cape Town. Spectacular beach. Perhaps a bit quiet for the young. Lovely hotels and great restaurants.

This isn't a beach for swimming because it is too cold, it's more one that is purely about the views. We came during sunset and...wow. There are also several moderate-high end restaurants and shops across the street from the beach, as well as a nice walking promenade.

This is a beautiful beach, but be aware the sea is very cold even in the summer. It is the Atlantic, you need to go farther east up the coast to the Indian Ocean to get the warmer seas. However, it is still warm enough to sun bathe, but you may have to go under a beach shower rather than... More

One of the nicest beaches to relax on, with fine white sand and a beautiful setting for watching the sun go down. Great atmosphere and a beautiful backdrop of mountains make it a spectacular place to enjoy a day in the sunshine.

Camps Bay Beach is among the most scenic spots in Cape Town, a city with a number of scenic locations. My wife and I visited in November, the early part of the summer in Cape Town. I can only imagine how busy this beach must be at the height of the summer season. The sand is white and clean and... More

Our Guest House was up in the hills so we had an amazing view of Camps Bay. The beach is wonderful and the view of the mountains spectacular. There are plenty of inexpensive restaurants opposite the beach, and it does get crowded. There are also some very nice restaurants too. Booking is a must to be sure of a table.... More
