The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world, dominated by the Roaring Lagoon. When waves are not generated, a bobbing cycle is generated in a diamond pattern.  All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Day visitors pay an entrance fee to the park.

I am a sea person, live by the sea 12 months. I prefer sea to pools all the time, but this is different. It is fun and well organized. You can find food and drinks on an artificial sand. Perfect especially for families. Enjoy !

Spent an awesome day at the Vally of the waves. Some great changes from the last visit. More restaurants and more food options including Halaal food options. The temple of courage and the waves still tops for the adrenaline junkies

My 14 and 10 year old girls had a lot of fun. The slides are fantastic for the brave, lazy river for the less brave. The walk to the tube slides is long but can't complain as it makes for more fun. Wave pool is great. I find the sand annoying and uncomfortable to sit on, but there is fake... More

I spend a morning here while on holiday with the family. I managed to stay a few hours before I gave up and moved to another pool area. The area was busy, noisy and not well kept. I would expect that it would have been easier to get food and drinks at this kind of a hotel run establishment. If... More

So says my teenaged Auchterarder and friend... what an experience. Love the fact that the food and drinks have become far more affordable there too

SunCity has many popular attractions that is suitable to various age demographics. Valley of Waves does a good job, making an imitation of a beach. It's clean and well-maintained and the lines aren't that long, even in the summer months. Service here is good, and is all-round a good time. It does however, take some time for the waves to... Finally my FOMO got the best of me and a group of friends & I went to Sun City for weekend. Cheaper that going to the coast, so why not settle for waves in North West. The place is great for family or just friends outing. You pay for entry to the resort at main gate (R60 per person) not... More

The Valley of Waves is probably the most popular attraction at SunCity. It is a large expanse of water with a spectacular artificial wave that comes once in about ten or fifteen minutes. It is loads of fun. We were staying at the Cascades so our entry was free. you have to buy an umbrella and there are helpers who... More

We really enjoyed the valley of waves. The staff there are very friendly kind. The rides are well maintained and not a long queue. The walk upto the slides is VERY long and tiring but it's worth it. We were so impressed with the lifeguard who assisted a disabled man by carrying him up the long way to the slides... More
