The Lost City Golf Course was designed by famed South African golfing figure, Gary Player. This spectacular par-72 course is a cart course, complete with a state-of-the-art clubhouse, and is a short stroll from The Palace of the Lost City. Very beautiful course, fairways were good, greens very soft like a carpet and all round the view was magnificent, really enjoyed the croc pit at hole 13. Had a few baboons and wild hogs around when we were playing. Some awesome and tricky holes to play and overall a challenging course. Great clubhouse overlooking the course.

Visited while staying at Kwa-Maritane. I did not play a round of golf but would love to. Beutiful setting. Using nature to the best. Course lay-out well planned. Beautiful surroundings.

This is the links course at Sun City (as opposed to the groomed Gary Player course). It features one hole with a crocodile-infested water hazard. Very enjoyable, especially if you play both courses to contrast the experience, A must for any golfer during a stay at Sun City.

I love this Golf Course. It has a unique atmosphere, surrounded by the Pilanesberg Game reserve, the second largest extinct Volcano in Africa. There are Baboons and other wildlife walking around which makes for an interesting game of Golf. Good food as well. And of course SUNSHINE. The par 3 over the Crocodile pond is unique.

We visited Sun City for the weekend and my self , our 2 boys and a friend played a 4 ball on Saturday. The course was in fantastic condition and we had a great time on the course. Ended the day with an eagle put on the 18th but had to settle for a birdie.

Excellent course and a test of accuracy and sometimes restraint. Take a spotter, it will save you a number of strokes. Also, the greens are subtle and depending on the pin placements could be a real challenge. The caddies are good and the help with line and pace helped a lot on the greens. I always enjoy the setting of... More

Of the two courses at Sun City, Lost City is slightly easier and a little more playable for higher handicap golfers. BUT ALWAYS take a spotter! These guys always find your ball and prove I cannot read a green! Special thanks to Abraham - he is a star spotter and a lovely man! Loved the novelty of the croc pit... More

We played at the lost city . Course in great condition. This is very much risk and reward type course . You often can take a short cut and have easy iron into green . Disappointing no GPS on carts

Now this is a real NICE course to play but higher handicappers will need to bring their A game to a number of the Tees. Apart from the really fantastic scenery, the course, even with the major drought they've had, was in really good condition. Fast, true greens .. some great challenging tee shots.. especially on the second nine. There's... More
