We recently stayed over at Sun City. Originally booked in at Cabanas. It was small, dirty and tatty. We a upgraded to the The Palace. Not much better. No service, poor food, carpets old and dirty. Very poor value for money, not seeing me again.

With about 200km trip from JHB, Sun City Resort situated in the North West Province offers wonderful surroundings for a day trip, one night lay over or weekend getaway. With a fabulous water park, casino, restaurants, conference centre there is lots to enjoy.

I so enjoyed myself, pity we started late and didn't get to explore it all. The Valley of Waves is so out of this world.

I have visited Sun City many times in the past and it has always been a great experience. But the general feeling in our group of 20 golfers was that standards are not what it used to be. Cold sausages and bacon at the breakfast...More

I have never been that interested in Sol Kerzner’s Rider Haggard fantasy perched somewhere in the bushveld surrounding the Pilanesburg mountains. A lost city and lost palace, fake waves in an arid region-not my cup of tea. My view changed when I took my two...More
