This is a real park, the animals are living there naturaly and was not created by human hands, this is great but it also means that this is huge, you need to go there several days, it takes hours or even days to see a big part of the park and all the animals. We had only 2h there, it... More

An amazing place, full of wildlife and great for photography from the vehicle. Home to big cats including Kalahari Black-mained Lion & Leopard. I'd recommend a night drive to see nocturnal animals that you're not likely to see otherwise. Kori Bustard and Secretary Bird were seen far easier here than the Kruger or other places I've been to in SA... More

you can drive very easy and comfortably in your car through this park, and even though the roads are in a general good condition, you might end up from time to time in sandy or also wet and muddy areas. Wildlife watching is plenty full but only permitted from inside your car, with the exception of a few rest areas.Make... More

My most unforgettable experience was after sunset/early mornings with the chattering of crickets, clear calls of owls, breathtaking roars of lion and many more. Worth it to give up sleep for that...

Don't go if you want to see animals on every corner go if you want to see nature at its best. Every sighting will be great and special. Will keep on going back.

We stayed at Mata Mata for three nights in one of the more modern riverside cottages (highly recommended) and then at Tweerivieren for the last two nights. I love Mata Mata, and the surrounding area. Our game viewing was spectacular, and our only disappointment was that night drives were temporarily suspended as they were without a suitable guide. We had... More

There is no words to describe this place except "Heaven on earth". Been going there for 23 years now and never ever want to leave once we are there. I hope and pray that this place stays as it is forever and ever and nothing happens to it. Please dont ever think of taring the gravel road. It is special... More

We had great sightings of raptors and predators. The park was dry as we were there in December. The environment is quite harsh but it was an enjoyable experience.

This park has become our favorite park to visit, the remoteness makes it attractive as well as the many quality sightings with hardly any other visitor around! Accommodation is in general basic but always clean, staff are friendly. Bookings seem to be difficult since it is quite popular.
