Overview
More
Kalahari Safaris is a Kgalagadi specialist as we are doing Kalahari tours for more than 10 years. At Kalahari Safaris we believe to concentrate on one area - the northern cape which include Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Augrabies Falls National Park and Witsand Nature Reserve. This gives us the edge over our competitors. Our tours are fully catered for - meaning we let our guests relax while we do all the work! Day tours to Augrabies Falls National Park include river rafting, wine tasting, hiking and game drives. Day tours can also be arranged to visit Witsand Nature reserve, as well as Spitskop or Day tours to visit wine farms.

the red dunes, vast valleys and lovely acacia trees, make this park the best we have seen in 45 years of travelling! The wildlife is amazing: huge black-maned lions, cheetah and elusive leopard in in a day's game drive. Evenings are quiet: lots of night...More

Our trip started punctually at 8h30 at Upington, and we had a great chat with our guide while driving 260km to Twee Rivieren. Upon arrival we had a fast check-in, and then a light lunch at Rooiputs - with lions sleeping 100m away! It was...More

You can have lots of action by camping or even staying in chalets at Kgalagadi. We did a combination of both, and found that the comfort of lodges is very nice after camping at the hugely popular Rooiputs and Polentswa unfenced camps with very basic...More

We spend 10 days at Kgalagadi with good results: the nature is unbelievable and the red sand dunes magical! Lots of animals and easy to spot, but lions can be more tricky to find as they sleep 18 hours per day. Leopard is also extremely...More

I went with Murray, a guide with great knowledge and love of the Kgalagadi Park. Pieter responded to my email extremely fast, so I booked via Kalahari Safaris. We did camping at Rooiputs and Polentswa, and Nossob / Mata Mata and Twee Rivieren. Our game...More

I love camping and we decided to book via Pieter of Kalahari safaris a trip deep into the Botswana part of Kgalagadi: Mabuasehube. Great was my surprise to see a LEOPARD at Polentswa: just walking and showing his big lovely body to us! Our guide...More
