We are a Horseback Safari Company operating in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park in Zululand, South Africa. This is an incredible corner of Africa, so fantastic it is a classified UNESCO World Heritage Area. The Park covers a mosaic of land forms that have created a vast array of biomes to support a very wide variety of animals, plants and birds. We have the highest bird count in all of Africa, the southern-most breeding spots for turtles in Africa, Africa's tallest forested dunes, the largest remaining stands of sand forest, the biggest peat beds in the Southern Hemisphere and vast wetlands.... and all of this runs alongside 220 kilometers of pristine beaches and the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, where turtles nest, whales often pass on their way to breed just a little further north in Mozambique and dolphins play in the surf.

We did the safari horse ride, which was brilliant, you really get up close and personal with the wildlife. Everyone was catered for, with the group splitting up to enable the more experienced riders to have a bit of a play. I would recommend this to anyone

I am not a horse rider and forget the pounding ones nether regions take in this delightful pastime. We did the game viewing horse ride which was so wonderful. You get really close to the wild animals on the horses. Guides are excellent and the horses so patient and gentle with old farts like me. We loved it so much... More

I booked horse riding along the beach for my wife and two daughters 14 and 8 years old. They were very excited and happy to have a ride. It was out of season, so they had a fantasic tour half hour longer then booked. Absolutely recommend!

Booked this trip for our first full day in South Africa. A great way to start our safari adventure! My husband and I and our 3 teen boys have some riding experience, but not too much. These were by far the most well behaved and gentle horses we have ever ridden! Really easy for beginners. Helmets are provided. We did... More

Wonderful experience horseback riding. We got close to some zebra, wildebeest and impala as well as seeing grey duiker, wart hog and a black backed jackal. But just as important, the manager really cares about the horse and her clients. We were booked and prepaid for a two hour game ride, but it turned out to be unseasonably hot -... More

I'd only been on a horse once, but these horses are so easy to ride, the entire family will have no problems. The horses walk themselves, and the more experienced can go faster with the guides. The best part of course is the scenery! Lovely beach to stroll on leading to the estuary mouth where you're likely to see wildlife... More

We are beginners and thats's why a little bit anxious before. But It's unnecessary as you will be accompanied by passionate guides on well behaved however fiery horses. That does not mean it's boaring... you ride in a herd of antilopes or zebras...the game is not shy as you are seated on a horse...believe it or not... If you like... More

I'm really scared of horses but it was my son's 13th birthday and he rides. So we all had to comply and I don't regret any of it. the horses are very obedient, they follow with little effort and the scenery is just breathtaking. We do get in the water a bit and splash around. Half way we arrived at... More

I am the worst horserider in the world and secretly -although a huge animal lover- I am actually also a bit afraid of horses, but my husband loves horseriding and I don't really dislike it either, it's just that I'm so useless at it and am afraid I would hold up the others. Well, glad to report that no such... More

We did the 2.5 hour mixed beach and game ride, both parts were great but totally different. Horses clearly in great condition and well looked after. Guides assessed riding ability and then split you into a faster group (canter/gallop) and a slower walking group for the beach. This meant all abilities could have the ride they wanted so great for... More
