This was such a beautiful experience. It was great to see how passionate the staff are about the animals and the guides gave us loads of information about each animal, its history and personality. I can not wait to visit again soon!

We enjoyed our visit to Chimp Eden and the informative tour to the 2x enclosures where stories of the individual chimps were shared while the guide tossed portions of fruit/veg to the chimps. I personally appreciated that there was no "hard selling" for donations or gifts although the option was mentioned. It's nice to experience something without a guilt trip... More

We were a group of 5, in total, enjoying one guide. Chantelle? She was great and together with co-operative chimps made for an enlightening and delightful 2 hours. Bless them all. May the good work continue and be supported

A very interesting experience. I was expecting to see chimpanzees but not be confronted with so much abuse and misery. Each of the 33 inmates have gone through hell before landing in the Nelspruit Chimp Eden of Jane Goodall. The guide is extremely knowledgeable about chimpanzees in general and the Sanctuary's inmates in particular. The work done by the Sanctuary's... More

Whilst we would have gathered there was no need to have such a sanctuary it was well worth the trip to see the great work undertaken there to help those chimpanzees. Each has it's own story which is told by the knowledgable keepers. An amazing place and well worth a visit and deserves your support....highly recommended

Our group of six enjoyed our visit to the sanctuary, although also to sadly learn about the continued plight of chimpanzees. I have heard Jane Goodall speak in Australia and it has been my mission to visit this sanctuary for some time. I can't really add to the great comments already noted about Chimp Eden and its staff - and... More

This was the second time I visited Chimp Eden, and I enjoyed it as much as the first time. It's a beautiful drive once you turn off the busy road from Nelspruit to Barberton into the reserve, with a chance to spot the odd antelope or two en route. The facility itself is immaculate, with a lot of information to... More

A very informative tour on the plight of the Chimpanzee. This animal could well be a myth to children in the future, thank goodness we have people like Jane Goodall and all her volunteers. It would be a shame to just drive past and not pop in to support such a noble purpose. My children don't have a long attention... More

An excellent way to spend a couple hours whilst in the region. Although there is no direct interaction, the guides are informative and the experience is eductaional and sensitizes the public to the plight of the chimps. Worth a visit.

We all must visit and help this incredible and unique place in the world. Listen carefully to the guide, enjoy the visit, raise awarness among your children and everyone around you. Be quiet and observe. Try to underestand what is going on here. Be respectful. Learn. "What you do make a difference..."
