We spent five days in the park, and the main purpose was to see the animals. And they are everywhere - you hear them, you see them, and you get really close to them. This park has everything, from the smallest ants to the big hunters. You may not see everything you wish for, but for sure you will see... More

Nothing can compare to the sheer beauty of the Kruger. Nature at its most pure and wild and to be able to self drive in this huge wilderness never knowing what will greet you around the corner - words fail me. I urge you to stay in one of the wonderful San Parks Bush Camps for a real Kruger experience.

Kruger is a very accessible park to visit and pretty much see all the big 5 in addition to all the other amazing animals, birds and insects in the park. Great roads, good bush camps and great facilities throughout.

The park is huge, so certainly has different terrains and animals to be seen depending on which area you visit. We found the game to be plentiful and got many great photographs.

We travelled to Kruger in September with friends from New Zealand who have never been to Africa. I booked online a year ago and everything worked out perfectly. We were well received at all camps and amenities were just fine. Not 5 star but comfortable and clean. The park was very dry and in the middle of a severe 3... More

We had been on safari before in Tanzania and Kenya, and if truth be told had always been a little wary of Kruger. The idea of there being loads of people on self drive safaris on Tarmac roads seemed a little too "Disney" in our minds. How great it is to be proved wrong. While we were on a tour... More

Amazing place, only there for two nights but just incredible. Obviously a lottery in terms of what you see but given it was our first safari we loved it and just how close you get to the wildlife. I gather in Kruger you have to stay on the roads and deviate off them where as if you go into a... More

What an amazing experience. If you're anywhere near KNP then you have to go. So much wildlife - all up close and personal. We stayed in SAN Parks managed lodges which was a much more affordable way of visiting. Comfort was excellent and it allowed is to combine self-guided day tours with excellent sunset, night, and sunrise tours organised by... More

For us, it was a unique experience to see wild animals in their own habitat. Although we couldn't get close to wilder ones like what happens in zoos, it was much more exciting. I am not that much into animals and had the idea that it might be boring for me and my 15 year old daughter but we enjoyed... More
