The park is small but well cared and the animals seem happy and well cared too. Guides have a lot of information about the animals and they give you good information about elephants that you never thought about. Then you can interact with them and touch them. Is an amazing experience that everybody that visit Africa should take.

There were only two elephants. I had imagined there would be lots. The guide was very good, explained the anatomy of the elephant and we were allowed to feed and walk the elephants. They certainly were not wild, rather tame.

The experience lasted about 1.5 hours and are guide gave a fairly detailed briefing. We walked with the elephant holding his trunk and were able to touch various parts including the elephant giving us a kiss.

The elephant sanctuary located in hazyview, the most amazing experience walking with a group into the path where we waited to see the elephants, we had an opportunity to feed the elephants and get a kiss on the neck what a heartwarming feeling, it's worth the price, you are allowed to take pictures, and walk with the elephants and learn... We had a wonderful time with the elephants on my wife's birthday in May 2016. The handlers were knowledgeable and confident in their abilities to manage these enormous creatures! The ride on them was an awesome experience, and one that we won't forget very soon!

The staff was incredibly welcoming, personable, and knowledgable! My family and I had a great time. Our tour group was small, which made it even more personal. Casper and Kitso, the elephants in the sanctuary, were gentle and had great personalities of their own! It was a fun (and educational) experience that I would highly recommend for travelers who venture... More

it was nice to come close to such big animals. We brushed them down and walked with them. It took almost two hours but the real personal direct contacts with the animals were only 15 minutes or so.

If you want to be up close to an elephant, this is one of the nicest places to do so. An small educational tour before meeting up with these majestic animals. You'll be surprised how big they are! You can feed them and walk with them (they will follow you while you hold their trunks). The elephants look good and... More

The teaching involved here is so worth it. The guide and the rest of the staff made everyone feel welcomed and at peace, Casper and Kitso are the best.
