Sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets - sometimes that’s all I ask for. But there are launches for boats and a nice desert garden. The restroom/showers are presently under construction (although the ones in the overflow section are fine). The park is in town so very...More

We arrived in the evening at dusk. We had a pitch one row back from the lake. It was quiet and peaceful to sit out and take in the warmth, and watch the last of the sunset. What a beautiful place.

What happened to the nice restrooms described in earlier reviews? The one by the launch ramp was gone. Likewise for the one by site 45. The restroom by site 5,was fenced off. What are the plans for Restroom facilities???

The park in Havasu mostly caters to boating. It has a small desert trail, and you can walk through it all the way to the bridge. However there is not much past that.

Some people say the best place to watch sunset is London bridge. But I love this park. Very spacious parking spaces and we walked along the river until the sun set. quiet and peaceful. You can see the outlines of the faraway mountains....very beautiful

We had a quick visit and picnic here in March of '18. There were little to no people here at the time. The lake is nice, the beach area interestingly is made up of many, tiny crushed shells. The kids had fun collecting all the...More

Most of the party people are in the channel. They don't pay to stay at the park. You are good.

Where we stay was for camping. However, they do have a day area for picnic and gatherings at the north end of park.
