Came down here for the first time to spend a week with long time friends. Spent a couple days walking and exploring the town and restaurants. Outstanding food and wonderful weather, pretty different from home in Alaska. Even the London Bridge was interesting and learned a bit of history.

We travelled to Havasue lake from Las Vegas by our own car, Arizona is bordering Nevada, within less than three hours we reached the lake. As soon as we reached there, we hired a boat ( 100$ per hour) and we ourselves led the boat. The nature around us was fascinating, it was an enjoyable experience.

Went back to Lake Havasu City to visit friends after 16 year absence. Beautiful beach and boat rides. It was hot but it was the only time my grandson and I could visit. The London Bridge area has cute shops with unique features. Love the surrounding desert and the drive to Parker where family live was absolutely stunning.

We stayed in Lake Havasu City for a week. We had delightful views from both shore. We also went boating on the lake. The lake has so many scenic places to see. We were there "off season" (end October) so the number of boats on the lake were at a minimum. There are numerous places to go see around the... More

We just wanted to visit the area for the weekend. We took our thinking we could do so,e walking but the park is really more geared towards camping and water sports. We were glad we went just to see the area, but it also seemed there was construction going on and some of the areas were closed. The one trail... More

Spent some time at the replica of the Lighthouse on the Island, just across from Lake Havasu City. The sunset was amazing.

If you're traveling through Arizona, Lake Havasu is worth a visit. Attractions include the lake itself and London bridge. Probably best to avoid coming here from July through September because 120° is not pleasant! I've heard that traffic can be brutal here during winter but one can probably arrange things to avoid that downside. There are some nice places to... More

Budget priced hotels on lake. Great selection of nation food restaurant s and local chains. Beaches are awesome and clean. Police do a great job in this town and respond quickly and professionally if you need them. Very low crime in this awesome town.
