Lake Havasu is beautiful. Town is relatively small but still good choices to eat and drink. We rented a house with pool and hot tub. We traveled in April so pool was still cool but hot tub was great to come home to after being on lake. We would visit again but maybe in May or June when water temperature... More

The best way to enjoy this lake is to rent a boat from one of the many rental companies. Even for someone without boating experience it is not that hard to navigate as you can always see the shore lines. Especially in the summer the water temperatures are so high that it is almost impossible to cool down in the... More

We coming here every year. Just about the time I am tired of the cold in Utah, we jump down to Lake Havasu for a week or a long weekend. It is just the thing to help my "mental health". Nothing like the warm sun when it's snowing up North to give you a positive mood change.

We had the opportunity to rent a nice speed boat for the day, and spent it exploring both the lake and the river that feeds it. There are so many different moods to the lake. There is the wide open expanse of water that is the main body of water with the many different speed boats racing about. There are... More

Lake Havasu was the perfect destination for my friend's bachelorette party. It's a very unique city that's easy to navigate around, and the lake was beautiful. You can tell how much the community revolves around its lake tourism and their love for the water, so I'm sure it would be a fun place to live/grow up in. The water was... More

A well planned city in the middle of the desert that offers a good variety of places for everyday living not to mention tourist places and the fabulous lake. Fun for all ages and budgets. Even when its 100 degrees the fun doesnt stop

If you can stand the hot summers, this is a great place to live or visit. There is always so much to see and do. You can boat, hike, water ski, ride off road vehicles, kayak, dine, drink, or just enjoy the beauty. Housing is affordable, and property taxes are low.

Lake Havasu City Arizona, is a small but booming Colorado River city. California is visible across the reservoir, and water sports are always booming on either side. Parks, marinas, beaches, tourists, expats from other states keep the city active from 8 am to 9 pm. And then the small town takes over and semi-quiet is restored. Most of the typical... More
