We were a family of 5 and did a 3 nights/4 days Safari, in day 3 we went to the Panorama route. The experience was so much above our expectations that it is hard to find words to describe it. Frank was our guide, and we feel so lucky we had the privilege of being his guests for this trip. He is such a welcoming man, so nice, an amazing guide and a very experienced one. We learned so much from him and enjoyed hearing his stories, kept asking for more. Each game drive we took was exciting and he definitely had a big part in that. Doug, also so welcoming and nice cooked for us the best meals taking in consideration our dietary requirement (vegetarian gluten free) and we enjoyed his food and his company so much.
Jerald took us to a lovely day at the Panaroma route and he too was so welcoming and nice.
The entire safari was so well organized, our transports were on time in comfortable vehicles and welcoming drivers.
We highly recommend on wild wing safaris and we can't wait to be back…

From start to finish, the trip was insane, from the get go there were no issues arranging the perfect dates, the length of the stay or choices of accommodation. Ilaria and I spent far more than most would deem necessary emailing back and forth making sure absolutely everything was perfect. From the moment I landed in Kenya I was greeted at the airport by the team and from then on, totally hands off on my part, everything was thought through by them. Once we arrived into the Mara it just kept getting better. James my guide was one of the most knowledgeable and thorough guides I've met while being super chilled out and great fun to be around, to the point I can't think of anyone I'd want more for my next guide, he also had an interest in photography so we spent time between drives going over each others photos to see what we each managed to capture! He knew exactly the best spots to go and how to get there as well as the ideal times to leave the camps and hotels to make sure we'd be one of the first out there for sunrise and being the first out there to see the wildlife on the morning hunts. I genuinely cannot rate this trip highly enough and will be planning another visit as soon as I can.

My wife and I have both been thinking of something negative to say about our safari and experience with Wild Wings, but we come up blank. Everything from your very informative website, ease of booking and payment, organisation and detailed information of our personal safari and guide, was exceptional.

We really appreciated you responding very timely and fully to any questions we had. We must also mention that our guide, Sam, did a fantastic job in spotting things and educating us. The way he communicated with other guides to make sure we didn't miss anything was excellent and I'm sure he is held in high esteem with his peers.

We made a good choice booking with Wild Wings and thank you very much for making this once in a lifetime trip exactly what we'd hoped for We would definitely recommend WW to anybody for efficiency, planning and value for money.

My five day safari was made perfect by guide Frank who was professional down to his fingertips sighting Cheetah, Lion and on one occassion 60 Elephants drinking from the Timbavati River. In Klaserie the ajoining private reserve to Kruger l saw two different pairs of Rhino peacefully grazing on the Savanna. Accommodation was comfortable at the"Old Olive Tree Tented camp just outside Orpen Gate. Staying there was a true bush experience but with private facilities. "Baobab Ridge Lodge" in Klaserie was 5 star luxury. Meals were excellent a both camps.Madi at Wild Wings could not have been more professional as she considered all my requests and put together my schedule for a private tour of Kruger. My thanks too to Dianne for ensuring that there was never a hitch when out on safari. if you are intending to visit the Kruger Park travel with peace of mind with Wild Wings Safari a🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟company who, with their years of experience in arranging African safaris will give you an Adventure of a lifetime! I am already booking my next trip to Africa with them.

Wild Wings is an amazing tour company who gave us the trip of a lifetime. We did a 6 night custom safari with the add on bush walk, night drive, abs panorama tour on the drive back to Jo’burg.
Kruger National Park is every bit of a dream African safari. We stayed in three park campsites: Skukuza, Satara, and Berg-en-Dahl. Pictures cannot truly show the splendor of the savannah. Long drive days in the open air truck revealed herds of elephant, giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest. We drove for 15 minutes next to a pride of 11 lions walking up and down the road. A mother elephant flexed on us as we drove too close to her baby. We witnessed two full mane male lions eating a Cape buffalo and a leopard in a tree devouring the impala he killed and carried to the fall branches to avoid scavengers. We saw him carry the impala down the tree clenched in his jaw to move from the hyenas below the tree. A mother and baby rhino walked directly across our path feet from us.
Watering holes full bathing, yawning, and snorting hippos; shorelines covered in dozens of crocodiles; herds of sable antelope, kudu, and impala. Pod after pod of playful and curious chacma baboons and vervet monkeys. And oh, the wart hogs that got Hakuna Matata stuck in my head over and over. And I haven’t even mentioned the mongoose, hornbills, fish eagles, ostrich, vulture and more. So much more.
The perfect trip ended gloriously with a panorama drive through the Drakkensberg Mountains and Blyde Canyon River. This add-on showed us SA splendor that we didn’t know existed.
Thank you Clare at Wild Wings Safari for all of the emails coordinating this trip. And a huge thank you to our Barefoot guide, Simon for his expertise, driving skills, and amazing cooking. We couldn’t have asked for a more special, personalized experience.
We traveled with some serious Covid lockdowns in place in the country. Everything was still perfect.

Wild Wings provided great service from start to finish. Ilaria helped put together a great itinerary on super short notice (like a week) involving a safari inside kruger with their contracted guide Simon and then a couple days at a private reserve in Sabi Sands. Ilaria handled all the arrangements including booking me a flight from Joberg out to Kruger when there were no land transport available - at no extra charge. Simon was an awesome guide, super happy I was with him instead of self-driving. We def saw a lot more wildlife due to his knowledge, spotting skills and being in touch with the other guides. Stellar service all around from Wild Wings!

Our guide, Simon, was fantastic. He had an eye for tons of animals, big and small, near and far, and lots to teach us about every one of them. He gave a great explanation for what we saw around the truck, which he maneuvered expertly to get us the best views of every animal. Sometimes, we saw animals that nobody else had found that day, including leopards and lions. He even drove us way out to see a rhino, which we weren't even sure would be possible, given their population. Simon, the chef, also made sure we were full during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and was great to have around for meals. The Wild Wings company also organized our transport to and guides for the private safari in Timbavati- this was awesome. Everything felt seamless and thought-out. Thanks for a great trip!

I just returned home from an amazing trip, an 11 day package that Clare at Wild Wings organized for me that included a four night stay at Kambaku Safari Lodge and four nights at the V&A hotel in Cape Town. Clare was a great help throughout the planning process and answered numerous questions via email as the trip was fine-tuned. The guides and hotels/lodge were all top notch. The V&A hotel let me keep my room until 7pm on my departure day for no extra charge, which was much appreciated before my late night departure flight. The safari lodge was excellent in all respects - guides, food, property etc. - they put on some extra items for Heritage Day including a special dinner out in the bush. My guides in Johannesburg and Cape Town we’re both excellent and provided interesting information on the places visited from a local person’s perspective.

Highly recommend Wild Wings for your safari! Guide Nicki was very knowledgable and made sure every min of the safari was utilized so that we can try and find all the animals, and we did! From the rare sights of wild dogs, black rhino, leopards and cubs, cheetah and cubs, elephants, giraffee, zebra, hyena and many others. Our package includes 1 guided bush walk and 1 night game drive by SANPARKS.

Kudos to the team in the office too who were keeping us updated about travel restrictions and information during this trying period of Covid-19.

The Wild Wings team really give their best and all you have to do is enjoy the safari tour. Value for money. Highly recommend!

Words cannot express how grateful I am for Madi at Wild Wings Safari. I did a lot of research with different companies and prices and wild wings was the best and most flexible. Madi was so patient with me (I'm a pretty indecisive and detail oriented person) and in the end we came up with the perfect plan. And then unforeseen problems arose and we had to cancel our trip. However, everything aligned last minute and Madi was able to make our trip come true again and rebooked everything about a month away! She was so calm and patient and comforting through the whole planning process. It was stressful canceling and rebooking but she never made me feel rushed or forced. Also, I loved all of her recommendations for specific price points. We were able to see the Big 5 in 5 days of being there. It was a quick trip and were able to do Nthambo tree camp (unique experience) and Arathusa (Out of this world 1st class experience). Even our transport guides between airport and lodges were amazing. Do not hesitate to book with Madi at Wild Wings Safari (you can tell she loves her job and wants to create a memorable experience for you). I do recommend getting travel insurance too just in case unforeseen things happen.
