It is worthwhile to visit Coin World for their permanent exhibition on the numismatic history of South Africa. There are some interesting coins on display and the opportunity to buy your own collection items.

Interesting to learn how coins are minted, but maybe more for the serious coin collector who can also purchase various coins there. The displays are well done and gives a good overview and history of the mint.

This visit is worth the visit. Learn about the making of coins and treat yourself by buying a coin at the coin shop. Also have something to eat and drink at the nearby restaurant.
