Loved this hike it was gorgeous. Walking through the trees and going over the river on the barge. The waterfall is lovely and lots of people were jumping into it, It was busy but really enjoyable.

Clean, well maintained lawns, good ablutions all make for a good stay. Also the hiring of canoes allows access to the river Touw. well prices . good work SANPARKS!!

We did the Kingfisher walk up to the waterfalls. Really nice walk, unfortunately hardly any birds we saw.

A great place to visit. I would suggest the Kayak paddle along the river. There are several forest trails that take you to the waterfalls where you can take a swim. Be awrae that these trails are quite arduous but well worth the effort.

We did the kingfishermans trail which lasted about 2 and a half hours, going a the way up to the waterfall and back down a bit of on a rush. Don't get put off by the crossing barge, if you go through the stepping stones...More
