Thanks to Andrea I was able to experience wonderful rides on well-groomed horses. It was an unforgettable experience to explore South Africa's nature on horseback. Andrea attaches great importance to animal welfare and makes every effort to ensure that her horses are treated well. Thank you dear Andrea as well as Paul and wishing you all the best!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 1h30-long ride with Black Horses Trail. We are both beginners, and they got us two nice and easy horses, which helped us enjoy the ride with more confidence. It's just such a nice and calming activity! It really makes you relax and just absorb all the nature and tranquility. Most important, most of their horses are rescue, which they take care of, reabilitate and train, so we were especially interested in supporting people who care about the animals so much. We strongly recommend them!

The owner is deeply passionate about her horses and it is a pleasure to listen to her stories. The farm is dedicated to caring for a maximum number of horses that have been rescued from various situations. Tourism is the main revenue source. Everything is invested into the horse which you can easily tell. Horses are well trained to beginners and very easy to ride. We were perfectly cared for even with young children. The forest is beautiful and trails can be accommodated to groups eagerness. We enjoyed our time very much.

I am so sorry that I am responding only now. I somehow missed your review, probably because I was too busy with a furry family member. It was, however, a pleasure having had you and your family here.

We did a 3 and a half hour rock pool outride today. The entire experience was fantastic, the ride wound through the most beautiful forests, on five of the most well looked after trail horses I have yet to see. The horses each had their own unique personality, and seemed to really enjoy being around people and each other. The guides were very experienced, they treated their horses well, and coped extremely well with our party of five, which comprised varying levels of riding experience, from fairly proficient and experienced, to one rider, who had sat on a horse for the very first time today. The guides (who are also the owners) were able to tailor the ride to accommodate all the riders levels of experience, making it a thoroughly enjoyable day for all.

Just spent an amazing afternoon riding with Neo (who really is the horse-whisperer) and our two calm and charismatic horses, Akeem and Arthur. My wife and I (both beginners) were the only riders on this 3.5 hour ride, which was one of the best things we've done on this holiday and has kindled our enthusiasm for the garden route as well as riding in general. It's obvious that Neo and his mum Andrea truly love and understand horses; I think nearly all their horses have been rescued and are clearly well cared for. Thoroughly recommend this to anyone who can spare an afternoon in the Wilderness area.
