Anglican church next to Masgrave Mall.

This is a wonderful ancient building Anglican Church with fascinating structural curves on the inside, the current Rector is a Black Lady Priest.

A large church which has been well cared for but sadly with a rather small congregation. Friendly. There is tea and home made cakes for sale every Saturday morning served in the garden.

Amazing dedication of priests in charge there. Exemplary involvement of parishioners and youth. All visitors acknowledged and warmly welcomed and blessed. So many services provided during a week and weekends for spiritual retreat. Always there, when twice a year holidaying in Durban.

Historical sites like churches offer an intimate look at the community. One of which is St Thomas that not only preserves its historical architecture, it also keeps an anchor tethered into the community with its various activities meant to help those in need.
