If you visit here, do not miss the SAFARI - the ride itself is an adventure and you will see so many animals up close, better than even the sun city safari

I was taken here as part of a tour. The zoo is pretty standard with nothing particularly unique that would not be found in other zoos in the world. The highlight was definitely the Zulu village. It was fascinating to see their customs and high...More

Valley of 1000Hills (15 Replies)
We are going to be in Durban for one day on a cruise stop at the end of the month. I have spent literally hours studying reviews and forums for a suitable shore excursion. As I like scenery and nature I thought the Valley of 1000 Hills sounded ideal. I dot know about any of the places you mentioned and how touristy or commercial or "real" they are. I have visited the Valley of the 1000 Hills and OMG was that beautiful!!!!!!! We rented a car and did drive ourselves. Maybe someone else (I am sure about 1 who will give you some GOOD information) will jump in. (come on MarkH90!!!!!) Klaus -Owner Abangane- Hazyview
