Very interactive, entertaining and educational package. I was a little disappointed that none of the "Big 5" were on the property but I still enjoyed seeing the exotic animals as we went through the rugged terrain. I also loved that it had different attractions in 1.

Monday morning we decided to go to the phezulu Safari park. For R150 a person the value is amazing . A Zulu cultural tour and dance is included and so is a tour of the reptile and snake park. The Zulu dance was the most amazing I've ever seen. It's about 45 minutes long and well worth the visit. The... More

I think the best thing about PheZulu is the drive through Valley of 1000 Hills. It is absolutely beautiful out there. Also, I enjoyed learning a bit about Zulu culture. Being that I live as an expat in Senegal, I usually don't play tourist very often. I enjoyed the reptile park and the Zulu experience. I will say that it... More

This is the place to visit if you want to experience high performance of Zulu dance performed by very energetic group of people. The curio shop is well stocked with all kinds of African curio art and bead work. The safari tour is amazing, you got to see all sorts of wild animals.

We chose to come to Phezulu after deciding that going to the bigger parks was too expensive with children under 6 (who can't go on the open sided game drives). This was the perfect choice for them because we went in an open-sided vehicle and got really really close to the animals. An hour was the perfect length for them,... More

Lots of folks make the trip to PheZulu an hour from Durban to visit the Safari Park. As a Durban native, I've always enjoyed the Zulu dancing and village life tour (75 minutes) held four times daily at the Park. This is an excellent peek into Zulu social customs and the dancing is great. The photography opportunities, with the Valley... More

We visited Phe Zulu for dancing and village life display and the bonus croc feeding and snake handling. This is a well run and interesting park to visit the dinner at the cafe was very good with great views over the valley below.

Traveling from the UK, my 6 year old was keen on doing a safari as part of our brief holiday. A short scenic drive from Durban, we were pleased to find the park offered a 1 hour game drive with the opportunity to view wildebees, zebras, giraffe and impala. The snake and crocodile park was equally entertaining, with the highlight... More

enjoyable visit. The crocodiles is a must to see including the snakes. The mambas they have is a big scary at first but they are behing the glass. Adrenalin junkies there is a dare to do if you can? you may not survive - run through the croc cages

So I just have to rave rave rave rave about Phezulu Safari Park. I am just so so impressed with our experience. My daughters woke at sparrow fart and were showing signs of needing to be desperately entertained for the day. So plan 'A' was put into action and we took off to Phezulu with hubby and my best mates... More
