This aquarium isn't really the same as Cape Town but its ok to pass the time before the dolphin show. staff can be a little friendlier.

It is amazing to see all sorts of sea creatures, but the sharks are the most fascinating cite, you'll be able to see divers feeding and playing with the sea animals.

the uShaka sea world have gone all out by placing the aquarium at the bottom of a cargo ship. A little chilly to begin with but it feels like you travel back in time. An amazing selection of fish and the feeds also have a presentation.

The aquarium is amongst the best I have seen, especially the 'ghost ship' ambience created by a very realistic mock-up of a rusty old ship stranded on the beach! The variety of fish species is excellent and the shark tank rounds it off perfectly! Then one can go to the Cargo Hold restaurant, also in the ship, and watch huge... More

My first encounter with the aquarium was a dinner hosted by the Mayors office and it created an amazing ambiance. I then visited at a later stage so that I could do a walk through of the aquarium at my own and it was absolutely lovely. Great activity for the kids and any sea animal lover!

I had an amazing experience in the uShaka Aquarium, it felt like I was in a submarine visiting the ocean....You can even have the opportunity to look sharks eye to eye and this is a unique experience :)

This must be one of the most unusual aquarium in the world as it is housed mainly in an old ship. The shark tank is fascinating and for interest feeding time is 2pm and great time to see this tranquil environment become a feeding frenzy and see how these creatures are in real life

uShaka Marine World is the 5th largest aquarium in the world and perhaps, the best. Certainly, the most unusual. The aquarium is built inside a old freighter and the ambience is ghost ship. I like aquariums and have been to many of the good and not so good aquariums in this world; this one tops the list for ocean animal... More
