I have now been visiting the gardens on & off for nearly 60 years, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice relaxing couple of hours amongst nature, but very close to the City centre.

An extraordinary garden, where you will be able to see a lot of South-African flora. Even some animals wonder around in this garden and are very well accustomed to visitors. Do not miss the display of the orchids

2 African female employees super rude and unhelpful, they are found at the area where you purchase your ticket, very very bad service

We visited because we were staying near by. What a treat! Entry free - well maintained - lots of variety - lovely wind chime - birds in the lake.

I had a great time in botanical gardens with a group of high school friends. The place is so natural you want to stay there for day. I highly recommend this place to nature lovers. I am definitely coming back here next year.
