As others have mentioned, parking at the stadium is free and the cost of the SkyCar is very low, I think it was well under R100 per person. The queue wasn't too bad when we went and the ride up takes a few minutes. Views from the top are spectacular. Definitely the perfect place to take panoramic photos of Durban.

I arrived at the Moses Mabhida Stadium; free parking:) btw and was surprised that it was a low fee for the SkyCar. Short wait to full up the car (5 mins) then we proceeded to the top of the stadium to a magnificent view of Durban. This is definitely a must do for your stay in Durban; very scenic.

Skycar was a joy. Because of the wind we only stayed up there for a short while. But the stadium offered byke rides for the whole family and that was wonderful since I was travelling with under 4 years old.

This is a nice family outing. We took our 9 month old baby and it was not a problem to take the pram. The views of Durban is realy amazing. It is freat to see how Durban is using the new stadium in diiferent ways.

It’s an experience in itself, the best part is the view of the beautiful Durban North beach that you get when you reach the top. But there are specific timings when this train works, so check before you go there

My wife is frightened of heights but confronted her fears to travel on the SkyCar and was glad she did. You pay for your tickets and are given a time slot which lasts for an hour. We went on a Sunday in the early afternoon and got on the first car together with two other people. The views from the... More

Friendly staff, quick service, and all-round a good experience, although when the queue was long, they put more people in the car, and it turned out quite uncomfortable - thank goodness for the short trip up!

We had family over from Switzerland for the Christmas Holidays and decided on the Sky Car at Moses Mabhida after our morning bike rides along the promenade - on a clear day you can literally see forever - what a treat it was to point out landmarks and areas from such an incredible vantage point!! Well worth taking overseas and/or... More
