We had a great afternoon tasting wines and chatting with Carlos. He was charming and interesting and really made us feel like we had found a friend. The wines were well priced and delicious. So much that we brought home way more than planned.

The wine tasting was very nice, not rushed, able to enjoy. The owner is very interesting, and very informative. The vineyard is beautiful, as is the tasting room. We became members as he lets you choose your wines, and 12 a year is all that is required. The wines are wonderful.

Recently visited with friends & had a great tasting experience. The NEW Owner Micah was friendly, a great host and knowledgeable about his wines as well as the wine making process. The wines are so good, it was hard deciding which ones to buy! Bonus:finding a few "must have" items in their cute boutique.
Lovely grounds, easy to find (the road is soon to be paved, but still a smooth journey to get there). Our group will certainly visit again!

My parents visited the winery and had a wonderful time. Bought each of us a bottle of the Malbec private reserve which they had tasted at the winery. Well when we all opened up the wine and tasted it.......it was FOUL. Each of us had to throw this wine away. The minute you opened it you could smell a bad smell - possibly chemical?? It tasted as if it had been tainted with a cleaning solution or other chemical. It had no fruit or grape flavor whatsoever......pure acrid chemical taste. Couldn't even be used in cooking. Had to pour it down the drain. My mom was so angry as she had given us all these as gifts for Xmas and said she paid a lot for them. The $2.99 bottles of wine from the supermarket put it to shame. Mom opened her bottle today, I think she didn't believe us. She said "just opened the wine, its bad. Make me mad we paid so much for crap".

We sincerely apologize that this occurred with our wine. This is highly unusual but can happen to wine once they are bottled. We would love the opportunity to ship you new bottles to replace the old ones. Please give us a call so that we can send this off to you as soon as possible. We would also love to have the tainted bottles back, if you happen to have kept them, so I can have them sent to the lab for testing. Again, our sincerest apologies. Please visit Cellawinery.com for our contact information.

My husband and I decided to go to Cella Winery for wine tasting as we were exploring Kingman (never thought I'd find a winery in the middle of the desert). What we found was an amazing experience, meeting the owners and some of their friends and ended up spending the evening with them as we tasted the wines. The evening couldn't have been planned as good as it became. The winery is in a remote area on the out skirts of Kingman and is simply beautiful. I enjoyed all the wines I tasted but the Syrah was my favorite. The owners are very personable and welcoming, treated us in a traditional Italian way, as if we were part of the family. We will definitely be back! So if you're looking for a winery in Kingman or just an experience learning about wines, I highly recommend Cella Winery, it is well worth the drive.

Carlos Cella is a most enjoyable and knowledgeable man. He is also quite a hoot!
The wines are good and very drinkable. Wine tasting is $10.00 for 10 wines.

Maybe 8-10 minutes North of edge of Kingman on Rte 66, turn left on Concho (by Valle Vista subdivision), go about 3 winding miles to the edge of the subdivision and then follow signs, get onto dirt road. Keep going.... THEN turn off at 2nd vineyard. Cella Winery makes their own wines from their AZ vines and also from their CA vines. The master says the AZ soil is even better than the CA soil. Who knew? For $5 you may sample their reds and whites, or drink a glass, and purchase a bottle if you wish.

Beautiful little boutique winery a little off the beaten path - but well worth the diversion! Carlos will educate you and treat your palate for a measly Fiver. We had a good long chat, enjoyed an array of delicious wines and ordered in some Zulima's Moscato - YUM !

Cheers,

Wonderful. No tour but can see grapes etc. but will give you history. Wine tasting for $5... Can not beat it!!! Wines made from the grapes grown in Kingman. Very nice.... It is a long way out there, but in my opinion worth it!!!
