This is a quirky delightful stop along Route 66 that is filled with memorabilia! Also, it is very reasonably priced (as we found out to our dismay, when we didn't buy some items thinking we could find them cheaper). Don't hesitate! You will not likely find cheaper prices. The store is delightful both inside and out. Even the restrooms are... More

If you blink you will miss this place and that would be a shame. This frozen-in-time general store is chock full of Route 66 memoribilia. A fun place to stop and look while you grab some refreshments. The owner is super friendly too.

While driving down route 66 you have to be sure to stop here. Outside the store are vintage vehicles and antiques displayed in a fun setting. Inside, are more antiques and a huge variety of Route 66 memorabilia and souvenirs (which are a much better price than the multiple shops down the road). Its a fun stop!!

Great stop off on Route 66 for some souvenirs and a rest stop. Opportunity to take some pictures with some old stuff and in the diner. Store staff friendly and happy to help with some history of the site. Don't drive past if you can help it.

On a long stretch of Route 66 with nothing around it sits Hackberry General Store. Traveling here really gives you a sense of the importance of these small towns along the old roads before the Interstates. The prices here were the best on Route 66. A great stop on an old fashioned trip to the mother road.

Perhaps one of the most photographed stores on the planet, Hackberry is one of those places that seem to have jumped straight from the cinema. Just looking at the place screams route 66 and its well worth the stop. Hackberry is miles from nowhere and makes a great break from the Mother Road.

After driving some 80 miles from Flagstaff along Historic Route 66, this gem from the glory days of the Route can be found. The store was a former gas station which has been cleverly restored to early times with many interesting items on display both inside and out. It offers a wealth of photo opportunities and has memorabilia which is... More

Lots of photo ops and memorabilia to see at this popular stop on 66. The staff was friendly and helpful. Make sure to get your free Route 66 Passport book and get it stamped at the locations mentioned in the book.
