We stopped around 4;15 after a motorcycle ride to Seligman. Museum closes promptly at 5:00 PM. A little rushed, but enough time to learn enough. There are a couple of gift shops to purchase Route 66 souvenirs.

Stopped in here on Oct. 22, 2017 while passing through and taking in as much 'Rt. 66' stuff as I could. I had read a few things about this place and heard all the 'hype' about how great a place it is. What was there...More

This small museum goes a great job of capturing the history of Kingman as well as the history of the Mother Road. Lots of exhibits to jog your memory or, if you are younger, experience some history first hand.

A small museum but entrance is cheap and includes the Mojave Museum and Bonelli House. The best part is the Electric Vehicle Museum.

I am very familiar with the Route 66 of yesteryear and had hoped to find pictures and memorabilia of that era here, not so. It is a description of how 66 came to be, but after 10 minutes you are done.

It depends on several choices. You can watch a video, read about various founding members of the community, etc. I think 1 1/2 - 2 hours; 3 max.
