Apartheid Museum & Soweto Tour

The tour will take you to the oldest and the biggest township in South Africa. Soweto was a dumping place where the apartheid government of South African allocated the area for Africans who used to work in the mines without their knowledge. it is home to Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Miriam Makeba and many more. your guide will take you to the old hostels which were build by the apartheid government for African miners and this hostels were same gender hostels, out of 10 hostels only one was women hostel. we are now on democracy and apartheid is dead, but some part of Soweto they still experience extreme poverty
$51.02 per adult

On the Red Bus Tour through Soweto, we stopped here for a photo opportunity, so never went in. The place you stop, has electricity pylons and cables, so it is hard to get a good pic. Mine were taken on the approach road. Note that there were some African Dancers who duly performed in front of the vehicle. They were not pushy, but obviously looking for donations.

Bungee jumping has been on the bucket list for sometime and so getting the opportunity to do it was really awesome. The staff were very professional and reassuring. I wasn’t scared at all, they were patient throughout the process. They gave us all the instructions and the jump was just amazing! The feeling can’t be described. The video came out great. 10/10 recommend them. Kudos team

People come here to jump off. I did not. But you can learn a bit of local history here. There's also some nice art on the sides however it's all corporate sponsored stuff now. You'll pass by when taking a tour of Soweto :-D

These power towers are a reminder of the pollution that was thrust upon the residents of Soweto in its early days. Thankfully they have been shutdown. The painting is interesting and you can bungee jump between them if you are brave enough...
