Fascinating insight to the Boer War. The displays in the various rooms show the history of the times and the appalling conditions of the hospital and the concentration camps. Great view of the surrounding countryside from this elevated position.

The Fort was one of several built to protect Pretoria. It is very well maintained, clean, safe and a great place to visit and learn. A very nice South African Military Weapons collection is displayed. The area is like a park and beautiful. Highly recommended.

This fort gives an insight of how Pretoria was defended in former years. Visitors can look into different rooms with armour and medical equipment. Nice views over Pretoria. Good to combine with a visit to the Voortrekker Museum.
