Elephant Walk 4-Hour Guided Tour from Johannesburg

18 reviews
If you’d love to interact with elephants but find the notion of riding, feeding, or bathing them exploitative, this is the experience for you. Accompanied by a veteran wildlife guide, walk through the African bush with three free-roaming, semi-habituated elephants. Stroll where they stroll, watch them feed, and admire their soft and silent footsteps. Your package includes lunch, water, hot drinks, and round-trip transfer.

With great views of Pretoria spread out below, this hilltop fort is a monument to and gives a poignant glimpse into the era of the Second Boer War. The fort, completed in 1897, was built to protect Pretoria from attacks but was abandoned by the Boers before being taken by the British in 1900. Well worth a visit!

One tend to go the monument. This is such an important part of the South African history . The history is set out in every adjoining building / room and very interesting . As it is a bit isolated , I would suggest to go in a group and lock the cars .
