This market was situated in Nelmapius rd some time ago but is now at the Red Barn in Botha ave. Many interesting food stalls from spit braai to jaffles, morrocan, chinese, healthy. Coffee is available at stalls as well as the small restaurant situated at the entrance. I did not even start walking through the rest of the market...there is... More

I have been to many flea markets and this is certainly the Best - It has hundreds of people selling their wares that you would otherwise not see and the setting is idealic. Note: it has moved now to the Red Barn, and the setting there is also awesome, very country!

It was the first time in 10 years I have been back at this unique market and it still remains the number one market in my book. All handmade items are a feast for the eyes, and the food available is a feast! A perfect place to bring your visitors or guests. Kids and dog friendly as well.

Pleasant morning outing, nice food, plenty of exhibitors and a safe haven for children. Affordable prices and enough parking. Relaxing outdoors activity.

This was my 3 trip to Irene's Market. I must say my favorite seller is Mike Nolte, Mike and his wife hand paint birds and animals on slate slabs. They have very reasonable prices. I have bought from him several times and his artwork is able to be displayed outside or inside with no fear of fading. If Mike doesn't... More

We invited several friends to join us try out something new. On 21 March (Human Rights Day) we arrived with our teenage kids just around lunch time (starving) and ready to have a good time. There was a long long long wait for enough tables to get 8 of us seated at the restaurant and the buffet braai in the... More

What a lovely little market. But if you looking for quiet this is not for you. Also if you bring your teenage kids make sure you have made financial provision as there are loads of useful and interesting things to purchase at a diverse selection of market stalls. NOTE: Arrive early as the queues for traffic and coffee are a... More

Came here specifically in search of a gift.we got there just after 8:30am. There is off road parking for R5 (the parking section is bumpy). Market was already operating by this time so no need to wait until 9am. If you do not get there before 9 you will most likely be stuck in an extremely long queue of cars... More

Great place to spend a Saturday morning...the homemade ginger bear from the tea garden was amazing (and not overly sweet)
