Popped in to see what's going on and to play a few games. Not impress with the casino's covid 19 program. Not enough sanitizer on the floor. There was more sanitizer on the floor before lockdown then now. The wet towels on the floor is so dry it doesn't make your hands wet. Management must catch a wake up.

Readers who follow my work - on Tripadvisor and other social and traditional media - will know that I have visited casinos throughout the planet ... from the tiniest casino at Graceland through the Flamingo Riverboat Casino in N'awlins, Casino Ruhl in Nice, casinos in Sydney, Lesotho, England, France , Swaziland etc ... I've been there, done that. I use low denomination chips from most of them as golf ball markers. It's also no big whoop that I tend to win in casinos ... but that's not the purpose of this review. Briefly, what this terrible place requires is some Casino 101 education for owners and management. 1. Your staff need to be comprised of happy, smiling FRIENDLY people not averse to friendly banter, and certainly not averse to giving a winning punter a verbal back-pat (before taking their money.) In short, make your customers feel WELCOME. From front door to cashier, the staff was without exception, sullen, rude, abrupt. Chuck in some outright intimidation from the manager (whose name will be given to Sun International) and you have a casino I could not wait to get out of, my small funds intact. In other words, if Sol Kerzner - the Godfather of casinos worldwide - was still involved, he would have fired every last person. 2. This is REALLY 101 stuff ... but guys, you have to provide punters with sensory stimuli ... the sound of winning machines (yes, I know the proper casinos have the ringing bells on a rerecorded continuous loop) is basic number 1. That sound tells people that the dream of winning big is alive and well. Dull as dishwater nothingness leaves the sense of being in a morgue at this unfortunate place. 3. Basic number 2 ... this place is the ONLY casino I have ever been anywhere in the world where punters are charged (waaaaay over the top) for drinks. Want to keep punters at the table? Let them think they're getting something for nothing. It's basic behavioural psychology - so lack of this suggests this casino has no clue. 4. When a punter is so drunk he passes out at a table, do NOT take his money and let him sleep it off. Apart from annoying whoever else is at the table, it's just plain taking advantage of someone indisposed. There's more of course ... but that's for me to take up with executives at Sun International. Bottom line - this IS the worst-run casino I have ever been in ... and trust me, I've seen some doozies. Perhaps the incredibly tiny "crowd" at this casino - walking around like the living dead, or solemnly poking buttons on machines - tells a better story. My advice to local and international visitors who happen to be in Pretoria is simple: avoid this lifeless, dreary place as if it has avian flu.

Staff not trained to be coureous and customer focused at all. If regular player( like myself) you will not be recognized as a supportive patron. I used to support Time Square since inceoption in 2016 and still not have no Host who would usually act as contact between patron and the company.
