Enjoyed our first visit to the Mall of Africa. It’s much the same as other Malls, but I did think it was well planned, but if you want to see everything, you are going to walk a lot. The shops all have a fairly small shop front, but are enormous inside and definitely have a greater selection than other shops in the City. Worth a visit, but plan your parking and go for the day.

The largest shopping centre in Africa. The Mall of Africa is very large and has almost every shop you could possibly want to go to. There are many restaurants as well as cinemas. Lots of underground parking available. It is located in Midrand in Johannesburg, and is close to the N1 highway Allandale on and off ramps.

It's always a pleasure to go to the Mall of Africa. It caters for all your needs. I go there twice a week and there is always parking. BIG BONUS! Its the cleanest shopping centre and it makes it a pleasurable experience.

We've been to most malls throughout South Africa and the Mall of Africa is by far one of the best in the country. When we were, we were exhausted. This mall caters for everybody and has everything. One highlight for us was the Checkers in the mall. WOW fantastic.

My sisters and I decided to shop at Mall of Africa on Saturday 31 March due to the flow of the mall and variety of shops. My sister’s handbag was zipped and closed against her person. She was pickpocketed in the mall and her iPhone 7 and All her money was pickpocketed from her bag. We won’t be visiting Mall of Africa again as it is an unsafe environment. Perhaps if this is a thing at Mall of Africa signs should be put up reminding people that criminals are at work in the mall. This might not stop the problem but it will remind people to be more aware. It’s a pity that this happened as this was starting to be my favourite mall to visit instead of Brooklyn or Menlyn Mall.

Me and the wife went on a mall excursion and to meet up with a friend for Lunch at Mythos.
Mythos was very good, the mall is planned nicely and there was a random art expo which was nice. The Lindt shop was good along with your favourite boutique shops and some of the rare fancier ones. Enjoy trying on some Versace clothing. The parking was not that traumatic either. Well done mall of Africa.

Highly watered down coffee. Tastes like weak, cheap instant coffee. Americano not much better. Service matched the quality of coffee. Staff are pathetic - no apology.

Beware of ATM scammers. Friend was scammed while waiting for an Uber at the pickup zone. They trick you to get a ticket upstairs for the Uber to enter, then pounce. Shocking experience.
