Excellent environment for all ages... The cool walk in the park against the excitement of seeing kids enjoying the variety of animals is remarkable. The new undercover parking is excellent and at least no parking on streets. Variety of animals, found the interaction with Tigers...More

We took our granddaughter here for her second birthday. The whole place is rather neglected and just so ordinary. I really expected it to be more than what we experienced. There are only a few animals of note n there just seems to be a...More

Well kept, a real hidden Gem. A tranquil family setting to get away from the Rat race, and hectic JHB day to day rush.

After taking my family on this weekend outing, i soon realized that it was the perfect break for my busy work schedule, a great feeling like being in a real jungle, from reptiles, animals and game, it was all a stress-reliever...

Had a great day at this zoo. Animal enclosures were animal friendly and we could get close to rhinos and giraffes which was a pleasure. It's a good place to take a picnic as it is laid out with plenty of benches. The hop off...More

South Africa 11-15 days. Safari-kenya-Johannesburg ,capetown (5 Replies)
Hi, I am planning to visit South Africa during June. It's hard to plan for the trip since it's a big continent. First of all, Kenya Airline, have anybody happens to have experience with this airline? Secondly, we can't decide between Kruger National park and Masa Maira (Kenya). But we think we will enjoy the Masa Maira more after reading about it. If there's any other place please recommend me. Since I am going in June, and it's our first time doing a safari, we only planned to do it...More

Hi, You have a very good program. From what i know every country has its own beauty. In Kenya, you are right about the Masai Mara,it was declared the best national reserve in Africa. You will especially enjoy the wildebeest migration. Since you have 11- 15 days, you can split in two and enjoy the wildlife in both countries. You can do 1 week in Kenya and spend the other week in South Africa. Kenya Airways is a good choice. You can travel to South Africa with them. I recommend when you...More

Planning Johannesburg in end Sep/early Oct (2 Replies)
Hi, Was discussing on going to Johannesburg in end Sept/early Oct 2018 with my husband and 5YO toddler. Would my son be able to participate in most safari day-trip? We haven't booked our flight tickets yet. Apart from Johannesburg zoo, anywhere else I can go with my 5YO. We are thinking of going 12days. And also, How much cash/debit card amount is sufficient to bring/in account during the 12 day trip. It would be spring during that period right?

Gold Reef City, Science museum (Sci Bono),Maropeng. Self drive for game drives in KNP would be the best option for game reserve visits.
