Apartheid Museum & Soweto Tour

The tour will take you to the oldest and the biggest township in South Africa. Soweto was a dumping place where the apartheid government of South African allocated the area for Africans who used to work in the mines without their knowledge. it is home to Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Miriam Makeba and many more. your guide will take you to the old hostels which were build by the apartheid government for African miners and this hostels were same gender hostels, out of 10 hostels only one was women hostel. we are now on democracy and apartheid is dead, but some part of Soweto they still experience extreme poverty

Rachawadee Thai Spa is one of my happy places! The Thai masseuses are talented and skilled, finding the spots that need massaging with a mere touch of their fingers. Massages are thorough and effective and oh-so-enjoyable, if sometimes a little painful when they hit those tender spots! The spa is tranquil, set in the most beautiful gardens, with safe parking. Tea on arrival and on departure, beautiful decor, and serenity throughout.

Rachawadee Thai spa is an enchanting discovery! I had my first massage few months back after friend recommended the place. You are greeted with a foot bath and a cup of cleansing tea and you get another cup of tea at the end of your massage. The massage was excellent and I have become regular. I usually book aromatherapy Thai massage combined with foot massage. Both are divine and I feel so relaxed afterwords and all the knots are gone. The massage involves, harder and gentler pressure and stretching at the end. Prices are very reasonable so I highly recommend this spa.

Rachawedee Spa was once a jewel of healing. I have been a client for many years, but unfortunately no longer. I received a phone call at 8 oclock at night to say my therapist was sick and I would be treated by someone else. Upon arriving at the spa, the lady promised to me was busy, and the "sick lady," was now my therapist. After 15 mins I realized she was unable to do a proper massage. In a way, Im very grateful to have left, as the "massage room" was literally reeking. Honestly, with no ventilation the smell was unbearable. The towels looked like and felt like they hadn't been changed or even washed in years! The receptionist didn't really apologize for the mix up, she just sat in a chair with her legs up on her phone! Sorry, what once was is no longer, and I had been going there for years. Even my clothes after being there for only 15 minutes smelt exactly like the room..ugh.. really disgusting experience all around. Will never go back. I know the management loves defending itself on Trip Advisor no matter what, but that was exactly my experience today. I wouldnt even go for a free anything! Number 1 is the place needs to be clean.Number 2..if you say there will be a therapist, she should be there. 3. Number 3, if she isnt available there should be a replacement or apology.

To be honest I have used Rachawadee Thai Spa massage therapy numerous times. I am an active person with many outdoor activities, plus my office work kills me staying up on the computer 7+ hours a day. This place just gets me revitalized and energized, not only solving my muscle stiffness but at the same time putting me to deep relaxation. I would really recommend this original and authentic Thai spa. Ask for Khun Wassamon she will suggest you just the right therapy for you!
