During our walk there gardens we saw many different roses. The water fountain we're dry. Restaurant was closed. It was a Monday so we had the gardens to ourselves.

This is a lovely venue. Has a restaurant, ablution facilities. There is a formal garden with fountains. I love going here and spending time in the surrounds. Ducks and geese on the dam, don't feed bread to them though. Definitely a place to spend time. It does, like all popular places, get full and busy so go early and find your spot. There is ample parking and car guards to attend to your vehicles. …

The gardens were really well kept, the waterfall was a nice surprise. Lots to do with extra trails, bird watching hides and although we didn’t visit an education centre for kids. The trees were really nicely labelled.

The family went to see the Christmas lights early January, just before they were taken down. Had a picnic in the grounds and walked around afterwards. The sunset was beautiful. Only sorry one can't go there during the year at sunset. A wonderful park where one can walk trails etc. during the day. there is a restaurant there but we never utilised it so cannot comment.…
