Many tourists (SA and foreign) always flock to SOWETO to experience township life and culture. Alexandra holds many surprises (positive of course)! Rich in tradition and struggle against Apartheid history. A must share!

I did some work at the Alexandra so got to see a bit of the place while it is worthwhile seeing to get perspectives of what entails township living. Soweto is on my top list.

Not such a great place to go walking around. it is rather on the dangerous side. so i would not recommend you go to Alex.
