You can learn much about the years Mandela was not in this house (jail on the island) as when he was released and how his family survived and influenced the subsequent revolts.

It felt like a privilege to visit Mandela House. The student who gave us a tour was very passionate about its history and significance to South Africa.

A tiny, small house in Soweto was the Mandela's home. It was interesting to see from what humble origins he had risen to such fame and leadership.

It’s the house where Nelson Mandela lived in the early years. The museum preserves the early years of how he lived with his family. You will see through pictures and actual articles which have been preserved the history and legacy of Nelson Mandela.

I came to South Africa with limited knowledge of Nelson Mandel and the events of SA. Seeing the area and meeting the people of Soweto is an experience I will never forget.
