the museum exceeded my expectations. it is well organised and well informing visit as well. The kids loved it and I enjoyed it as well. It is worthy a visist or two.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well everything was maintained. A great collection ranging from geology to fossils, animals and a historic recreation of Bloemfontein. A must visit. At R5 per adult it was an absolute bargain and my daughter rushed from display to display...More

One of the best museums in the country. Good upkeep and the Bloemfontein Street Scene remains an absolute Gem! The Tuck Shop need soem attention but otherwise a really good way to spend a Sunday afternoon

The museum is an eclectic collection of animals, astronomy, local cultures, mining, birdlife and a bit more beside. Worth a visit.
