It may be out of the way, and it's definitely not an easy beach to gain access to, but it's worth all the effort to reach it. Locals consider it their secret place, so visit it if you can. You won't be disappointed.

A wild big beach with big heavy surf that rolls in from the Indian ocean onto South Africa's uncluttered, straight coastline. Big dunes, big sky,big waves and well worth going to.

No visit to Port Elizabeth is complete without spending some time at Sardinia Bay. The sand dunes are amazing and one the top is reached, the view in both directions is just wonderful.

The sand has been blown creating a huge sand dune covering most of the parking .. There's a hut cafe for limited drinks

There is no-where to launch a Jet ski at Sardinia bay? It is a spot popular with Kite-surfing... The place for Jet Skies is at Hobie Beach, (in the Bay)... but not sure if anyone hires them out?...you would need to ask... More
