Great News: found Jester! She is doing fine and in mint condition. Jester is in Hout Bay. She also does cruises to the Robben Island Museum.
Jester is now operated by Nauticat Charters who are the largest cruise operator in Hout Bay. Hout Bay, Western Cape, South Africa is Cape Town’s most scenic harbour and bay. You can see the incredible nature of Chapman‘s Peak, the Sentinel Mountain, Blue Waters, the Coastline to Cape Point. Hout Bay towards The V&A of Cape Town. Nauticat Charter Tours is visiting Seal Island on multiple daily trips. Seal Island (Duiker Island) has the largest seal population on the West Coast. Beautiful and what an unforgettable Experience! There are also dolphins and during the season large pods of whales. Hout Bay is world famous for the Whale super pods. Saw it also on the Ocean Safaris Hout Bay Website.
The Seal Island trip is highly recommendable!

Sadly Jester Cruises has moved to cape Town leaving a gap in the Tourism products in the city. However there is tons to do and see and if you want to go to sea you can contact the following for a trip out to sea: The ski boat club, the yacht club, Ocean Divers, Prodive or Raggy Charters.

My family took me on this trip as a Mother's Day treat. It was wonderful, we saw Dolphins, a shark and the food and drink was plentiful. Highly recommend it.

The Jester was a fantastic part of Port Elizabeth's tourist offering, particularly its braai cruise around the bay at sunset, but unfortunately the owners moved the cruise to Cape Town. And we miss the cruise so much, that the move gives its ZERO RATING.

The Jester has packed up and gone to Cape Town, cruising out of Hout Bay it seems. The Jester was an awesome addition to the tourism mix in PE and a great attraction and it was sad to see them go.

Make a booking to be sure you have a seat. The staff are very friendly. There are early morning cruises and on saterdays also in the evening. The morning cruises one can take your own picknic basket. Sorry nou drinks allowed. You van buy drinks from them. Saterday night cruise incliding in the price are a barbecue and salad pudding and also a cup of tea or coffee. If the weather are ok they took you out of the harbour. You can also see some of the restaurants and the boardwalk. they achor near the pier on a saterday night. A wonderful experience. We booked the Jester for 40 people as an end of the year function on a sunset cruise. The staff was friendly, and even though the sea was too rough they ensured that we saw a view of the city lights and cruised inside the harbor while everyone kept on enjoying wine and snacks. Definitely worth going on a trip for amazing views and a relaxing evening.

The cruise takes you around the port Elizabeth harbour and it's a lovely way to spend an evening watching the sunset. The staff are very polite and helpful. There is a fully stocked bar to help you relax an enjoy the journey. Great parking facility on site.
