My boyfriend and I had been looking forward to a day at Kwantu. We love going to game reserves and looked forward to the elephant interaction for our anniversary. After arriving, we were barely greeted at reception. To add insult, we were told they were closed for renovations. The one lady asked us why we didn't read the notice on... More

The park is well marked from the N2 and has a pretty good gravel road to the reserve. We were met with delicious snacks and hot chocolate on our arrival. The game drive was a good 3 hours and we saw plenty of wild life. While the park boasts all of the Big 5 we did not manage to see... More

After a 10km gravel road we were welcomed by a friendly smile from Matha and prettiest views.Very accommodating and we were treated to welcoming snacks and drinks all fully halal. Grounds are immaculate and prayer facilities are available. I would recommend an overnight stay as apposed to a day trip. Game drive breathtaking as we came face to face with... More

We reserved this place completely unaware it was strictly Islam. Nice game resort, good accommodations, friendly staff but, a strictly "no drinking" policy... If an Islam place opens to the PUBLIC, the drinking policy should be more open.

The reserve has a very well maintained fleet of Game Drive vehicles and also offers shuttle services to the airport and harbour. The Rangers are well trained and... More
