Paul was such a very kind, patient, knowledgeable instructor. He had such a great way of explaining things and made it all seem a lot easier than we had thought it might be. Our lesson was one of the highlights of our 7 year old son's life and he was flabbergasted that with Paul's careful help he was able to stand up first time. He had been rather scared of the sea before his lesson and we were hoping he would be brave enough to do the lesson, let alone come out thrilled that he had ridden so many waves. Paul seemed to have eyes in all directions making sure everyone was safe. He kindly lent our 5 yr old daughter a wetsuit so she could paddle and play while we were in the water. He just had such a lovely manner about him and was so good at what he did. I would recommend Learn to Surf Plett to anyone. Thank you Paul.

So here is the deal - one surfing lesson does not make you a surfer.... Its not easy but tiring. These guys know what they are talking about....once you get to stand and feel the wave its an incredible feeling. Take 3 lessons, get some rentals and put in the time. My 16 year old, my 11 year old and I go to Learn to Surf Plett when ever we are in Plett on vacation. We are all addicted now. Paul and team , see you December 18 again.

We were lucky to get on time after rainy morning. The kids had 2 hours lessons with Dylan and had fan and were Abel to surf very fast. While the kids surf we rest on the see shore or on the platform with nice white wine and enjoy the beach. If you lucky you will see Dolphins while waiting, we did:-).

My three kids aged 16, 15 and 10 had lessons over three seperate days. Without exception the various instructors were friendly but professional. The sessions were well organised with safety. Nice beach break with warm water temperature so while wetsuits provided may not be necessary for everyone. Good work guys!

My son and I enrolled for the 3-day "learn to surf" group programme. At no time were we more than 4 to a teacher, which meant we felt safe and had lots of focused attention all the time. Both of us were rookies. Our teacher took us through some basics about the ocean and had us practicing surfing basics on the shore before taking us into the water. The instructors were great, guiding us and supporting us through the manouvres until we we had a basic level of proficiency and could take on the little waves on our own. We got dumped on countless occassions over the 3 days, but that was part of the fun - and all worthwhile considering the thrill we felt when we eventually managed to stay on our boards and surf all the way to the beach.
