Kenny took care of our reservation over the phone. You don’t find people willing to help anymore the way he helped us with schedules. In the reviews I read prior to booking, I was a little skeptical, but then when we met Levi our guide, the skepticism disappeared after 5 minutes. He’s not only knowledgeable about the towns history, but also a lot of the major influences of what empowers paranormal activity to manifest. The reviews and web only mentioned EMF meters and EVP’s. When we got into the van, he handed us 2 - SB11 Spirit Box’s. After the tour one of my two son’s who’s always been a skeptic is now a believer along with my wife. We received some amazing “immediate responses” to specific questions in the grave yard, on top of seeing the temp and mG fluctuate. If you ever wanted to “see for your self” and use the same equipment you see in TV. These are the guys you want.

We had a large group of 11 with ages from 55 to 3. Our guide was knowledgeable about the city but didn’t really tell stories instead it was more just reciting facts. Using ghost finding equipment in the cemetery was fun and memorable. Overall the kids loved it but the older adults could have used more storytelling and maybe more tours of haunted buildings.

An absolutely awesome experience full of ghostly tales and the shockingly spooky history of Jerome “The largest ghost town in the America!” Cody, the lead tour guide is such a wealth of information that even though we’d already been on multiple tours with the company, he still had more to tell us. We’ve been on all their tours because it just isn’t a trip to Jerome without one. Not to be missed! Seriously how can you go to the largest ghost town in America and not get a ghost tour? My daughter is a teenager now and she still wants to go every time we visit. That’s how cool it is!
It’s worth it just to hear the story of how the town is literally built out of a foundation of the dead. Literally. And I don’t mean that like teenagers say it because they don’t know the difference between literally and figuratively! Lol

After talking to a Jerome native who advised us to book a tour that goes the the old high school, we decided on a private tour through Ghost Town Tours because the description on their website promised "exclusive locations" including the old high school. The tour was NOT AT ALL what we paid for. Every location we went to, I and others in my group had been to previously. There were no exclusive locations nor did we go to the old high school. The entire group was highly disappointed in the tour. I attempted to reach out to the company via email expressing our disappointment, and received no response whatsoever. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism. Spend your money elsewhere.

We did the daytime ghost tour because we weren’t going to be in Jerome in the evening. The receptionist who took our reservation was REALLY helpful. She was super knowledgeable and friendly and we were really looking forward to our tour. Unfortunately we were underwhelmed. The tour was in a van with poor visibility out the windows. We only got out twice. The guide only was not very engaging and seemed to just recite the facts without enthusiasm. Most of the facts weren’t ghost facts, mostly history. The cemetery was neat but i would have liked stories about some of the people buried there rather than just wandering on our own through mostly unmarked sites. I suspect the nighttime tours are more spooky. I also think the walking tour would have been more appropriate for our active family.

On top of this, the guide did not wear a mask. When i asked if he could wear a mask, he said he didn’t have one. I understand masks aren’t required in Arizona but i felt caught off guard and trapped, especially since the people at the office were masked.

Jerome is a really cool town with rich history and some really nice people. I thought the ghost tour would be rich with stories about people who lived there, with names and dates and references to things that had happened that could lead to spirits hanging around. We got almost none of this. We got a really nice guide named Tracy who tried her best, but the tour was some generic town info I could get online and about 30 minutes walking around with a staticky AM radio trying to ‘pick up ghost voices or sounds’. Spend your money on a historical tour instead-at least then you’ll get an hour of information instead of feeling like a sucker while your 11-year-old rolls his eyes.

My mom and I went on the tour on October 29th and had a blast. It ended up being just the two of us and Lenny was the best! We actually caught something on camera. You can see that I took two pics back to back of the same spot and in the one you see something and it isn’t there in the next one. We caught that at the jail. Also we spoke to several ghosts. David was the spirit at the jail but we also spoke to a Joe at another spot and then at the cemetery a John, James, and Clara!! James was hilarious and called my mom stupid twice because of the questions she was asking. So so much fun!! Lenny was very informative and tons of fun as well. I cannot say enough about our experience. Thank you Lenny for a great time and the next time I am in Jerome I will definitely be taking another tour!!

Had a great time on the 1 1/2 ghost tour. Carl was a great guide. There was a nice mix of town history and ghost hunting on the tour. I would highly recommend doing the tour at night if you want the full creepy effect. The graveyard visit was super cool and spooky. We also learned a lot about the town history from Carl, as he stopped and told stories about numerous things we had walked by before the tour and not even really noticed. I would definitely do this tour again

We had the best time with Cody explaining the history of Jerome and stories relating to every location. He made the story the coolest place for tourist to keep coming back. Thought it was just going to be about wine & little trinkets to buy. He left us speechless with the stories. Ghosts and spirits is fun but with abundance of info making it possible. Comfortable van & price seemed normal. And the town was like watching a cowboy movie filled with very wealthy people in 1900’s. The tour will make your visit more fun. Unless you want wine

We choose the bus 1.5 hour tour and it was fantastic! Our driver Linny was super sweet and full of haunted history. He drove like a champ and kept us all entertained! We got to see a ton of locations without being out of breath!! We were given a spirit box and temperature gage per group and got to use them at 3 locations. Our group talked to at least 5 individuals and we heard very clearly “No”, “Yes”,”Green”, “why yes”, and “dog”. There were some other sounds like cars make and clicking. Our temperature gage went up several times. It was great!! If you can get into a van you can do this trip!! The location we got into the van has restrooms and a small but nice gift shop. I would highly recommend taking this tour!!
